SYMPHONY ran her new freshly done nails through her hair as she sat on the park bench watching symphani play on the slides with kehlani and Ki'myah ever since she had got those pictures in that letter she made sure to keep an close eye on her especially when they were outside "Symphony you hear me babes?" Taking her attention off of the girls she looked over seeing Kennedy standing up looking at her
"Umm no what did you say?"
"I said I'm gonna go over there with the girls because zyeri is here now" symphony's eyes light up at the sound of his name she hadn't seen him in a couple of days due to them both being busy and she definitely missed him like crazy "okay thanks for coming today for real" she smiled
"No problem girl when ever you need help with her or something just give me a call" symphony nodded her head as Kennedy turned around and walked over to the girls looking back she smiled seeing zyeri fixing his shirt as he walked over to her "wassup with you pretty?"
"What you mean?" She asked confused tilting her head to the side as he sat down next to her on the bench "I mean why you been acting all sad and shit sym this ain't like you" he said calling her by the nickname that he made up for her "ion know zy I'm just worried not for me but for my daughter you know?"
Ever since the day she found the envelope of pictures on her window she had been having nightmares of him being alive but that wasn't the worst in the dream the worse was him coming and killing everybody she loved including herself and then taking symphani
It's like the dream was on repeat and every time he would take symphani and kill her she would wake up screaming in sweat she didn't know how to feel about the dreams so she hadn't told anyone about them not even zyeri "sym stop worrying this shit for real I told you I got you and Imma take care of it"
"Zyeri I know but it's still my situation and Imma still worry about it no matter how hard I try I'm gonna still worry about it"
"Yeah I know man I know but shit hard to find some stuff out we went deep like deep but only thing we could find for real is that the day you said he died there isn't a time of death on his report"
"I'm not even surprised zy like I said I didn't handle any of his stuff his mom did I just wanted all that shit to be over so I could start a new life with my daughter"
"Well don't een' worry about it Imma keep having my peoples look into it and Imma take care of it just worry about everything else and symphani"
Symphony's mouth formed into a pout over the passed couple of weeks she began to see how much zyeri cared about her in just a little of time of them knowing each other she hated that all of this was happening when she was trying to build something with someone new finally
