Wow Peter said about to walk away when Tony grabbed his arm stopping him.  No you do not wow me young man tony said. God your such a hypocrite you used to go to parties all the time and get drunk and high but I'm not aloud to go to one party when I have never done any of that you know I'm more responsible then you were at my age Peter fired back. That's the reason I don't want you to go because I know how kids are at parties even if you don't drink normally someone's going to put a drink in your hand and your gonna end up drinking plus it's a school night Tony said. That's bull and you know it even if I got drunk which I wouldn't I'm a straight A student and I would do just fine but whatever I guess it's fine I'm going to bed Peter said pulling his arm out of Tony's grip and going to the elevator to go upstairs. Tony turned around to see the avengers all in the living area as soon as he looked at them they all looked away and pretended that they were doing different things. Tony walked in the living area really guys he said. He's right you know you used to party all the time pepper said. Really your supposed to agree with me here not the kid Tony said. Well I'm just saying plus he is more responsible then you were at fifteen she responded. Whatever I'm gonna go take a shower Tony said about to leave when Friday came over the speakers sir Peter just left the building and asked me to inform you that your an asshole seriously Tony said running to elevator to go down once he got out he ran outside and called his suit which appear around him and he flew into the sky and started to scan for Peter.

The avengers are all still in the living area when Peter walks in wearing his bedclothes they all look at him with surprise and confusion as he walks over and grabs the tv remote off the table and turns on the tv hey Peter I thought you left pepper says. No because I don't sneak out and if dad would stop comparing me to himself he would know that and wouldn't be out looking for me without even checking my room first Peter said. Pepper just chuckled knowing that he was right Tony did constantly compare Peter to his younger self out of fear that Peter would do the same things he did as a kid after a few hours of watching tv with the avengers and enjoying some popcorn everyone had fallen asleep it was two in the morning when they woke up to Tony landing on the roof and going into the living area where he saw the avengers along with Peter looking like they just woke up what the hell peter where were you when did you get back and I swear if I smell anything on your breath I mean you say your responsible yet you snuck out to go to a party after I tell you that you can't and then let me worry about you and you can't even let me know when your back that's it your not going to Ned's this weekend or any weekend for the next two months you go to school and you come straight here you do your chores and then you sit at the bar and study when your done studying you can go to bed got it Tony was pissed he didn't even let Peter talk every time he trued to say something he put his hand up to stop him. Peter just left he didn't try to explain that he didn't go he just left his dad wouldn't listen anyway he got in his bed and went to sleep.

Tony what the hell almost everyone said at the same time. Oh you guys don't get to say anything y'all didn't even tell me when he got back and if he's going to act like that then he's going to be punished Tony said. Your an idiot you know pepper said.
Excuse me Tony defended. If you would have let him talk then you would know that he never snook out after you left he came in here ready for bed and watched tv until he fell asleep you need to stop comparing him to you when you were his age because he's nothing like that and if you would just let him talk then you would have known all of that pepper said her anger getting the better of her Peter might not have been hers by blood but he was still her son and he didn't deserve to be grounded. Wait he never left and y'all didn't think to let me know just let me worry til two in the morning for no reason and he knew I would go looking for him so he's still grounded even if he didn't sneak out and if he wants to come up to me and apologize for making me worry half the night then maybe he won't be but he needs to come up to me and tell me himself  I'm going to bed goodnight and with that Tony walked away.

The next morning Peter got up and he went down the elevator into the common room and went to the kitchen where pepper was cooking eggs and bacon he went up to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek as he hugged her and said a quiet good morning he procured himself some chocolate milk and put it beside the plate she had set on the bar for him he sat down and started eating he was laughing at something she said when Tony walked in Peter just went back to eating and didn't say anything by the time he got finished everyone else was already awake and moving about to get there day started. He got up rinsed hit plate off and put it in the dishwasher then went to leave the room when Tony said his name so he turned around and just where do you think your going Tony asked. I'm gonna go take a shower and get ready for school Peter said in a low voice trying not to draw everyone's attention too late for that though. Ok proceed Tony waved him off and Peter went and got ready for school.

After school Peter went straight home did his chores and when he got done he went to the bar and studied until it was time to eat dinner which went by almost silent with no body wanting to say the wrong thing after dinner Peter helped clear the table wash the dishes and then when back to studying until he got tired and went to bed and that's how it went for a week Peter not saying more then a few words to Tony except for when asked a question then he gave a short a direct answer. Until Saturday came around and Peter was once again studying at the bar he got up and as soon as he was about to walk away Tony asked him where he was going being done with everything Peter quipped to the bathroom unless I need your permission to pee now regretting it as soon as he saw anger in his dads face. Really that's how your going to be your in trouble because of something you did if you don't want to get in trouble then don't do things your not supposed to do Tony said thinking he won this fight and was about to sit back down when Peter grabbed his school books and threw them at the wall. Oh my bad I forgot you were a freaking ray of sunshine who never did bad I mean you never snuck out you got perfect grades you helped out around the house without being asked you volunteered at a children's home and you had a job oh wait a minute that's me I just described I've never snuck out I've never been drunk or high I mean hell I've never even gotten a B in school and what I'm being punished for right now doesn't even make since you literally punishing me for not sneaking out you do realize that all I'm getting from this is that I might as well go get drunk because I'm gonna get in trouble either way Peter realized he was yelling at the end when he looked around and everyone was shocked even Tony who just cleared his throat but didn't look like he knew what to say so Peter took it as an opportunity to pick up his books and look back at them I'm sorry I didn't mean to scream if it's ok can I just study in my room Tony just shook his head and Peter left Tony looked at everyone else oh my gosh I didn't even think of that I'm turning a perfectly good kid into me by trying to keep him from being me I'm such an idiot I wanna go talk to him but I feel like I'm gonna say the wrong thing again pepper put her hands on each side of his face just talk to him and when he talks back actually listen to him she said. He nodded and left the room he went to peters door which was open and knocked on the door frame Peter looked up at him hey I really am sorry about yelling down there I don't know what came over me and I'm sorry about making you worry last week I'll continue to go to school and study at the bar once Peter was done Tony just looked at him for a minute no you don't have to do that I was so worried you would be like me I didn't take a step back and realize there's no way you could ever do what I was doing at your age because you are a way better person then I will ever be and I'm sorry for not seeing that sooner next time one of your friends throw a party as long as you text me off and on to let me know your safe you can go now put that book down we both already know that you read the whole thing when you first got it and let's go make some popcorn and watch star wars Peter jumped up and hugged Tony then they both went to watch tv.
