"715 to your door. Time for your morning injection then breakfast." I got up and walked over to my door with Teddy in my hands. I didn't really like morning injection day but was allowed to have Teddy with me all day if I behaved so onward me and Teddy went. The voice over the loudspeaker was a little scary for me but I got used to it in a sense.
"Good morning Izuku!" Mrs. Gia greeted me as the door opened. She was my favorite here because she was super nice to me. She taught me how to read and even gave me a bandaid after injections.
"Good morning Mrs. Gia! I brought Teddy with me!"
"Oh my, how could I miss Teddy! Good morning Teddy! Are you going to help Izu with his Injections today?" I laughed at Mrs. Gia's silliness.
"Mrs. Gia Teddy can't talk. He's just my stuffed Teddy bear." I told her as I grabbed her hand while we walked down to the injection room.
"Well, that's what you think you silly kiddo." She told me before tapping Teddy. I watched as he suddenly came to life and jumped down from my arms to hold my other hand. "He looks pretty lively to me."
I laughed at this, though it wasn't the first time she had done that it surprised and amazed me every time. Mrs. Gia really was the nicest one here out of all of the people I met. "Mrs. Gia thank you!"
"For what Izu?"
"For everything! You know you're the only one here who is so nice to me. No one lets me hold their hand like this or helps me calm down before injections like you do." Mrs. Gia frowned at this but smiled again when she noticed I was looking at her.
"That's because no one else sees you for what you actually are. No one else here sees you as a lonely kiddo. I'll tell you what, I'm going to see if I can talk to some people and see if I can be the main person to take care of you alright? But don't keep your hopes up on it."
"Okay, Mrs. Gia!"
"Alrighty, shall we get these awful morning injections out of the way?" I looked over to Teddy who nodded to me then back at Mrs. Gia and nodded. "Alright, you know the drill then."
"Yup!" I let go of Mrs. Gia's hand then and walked into the room with Teddy who followed. Mrs. Gia put on her gloves after washing her hands and I sat in the chair, holding Teddy close.
"Okay on the count of three. One... Two... Three." I felt a slight pinch and then nothing for a few seconds till it felt like my insides were melting.
"Izu? Izu what's wrong?!"
"It hurts! It hurts Mrs. Gia!" I cried as I felt hot tears running down my face.
"It's okay hun. Just breathe in and out you'll feel better soon, I promise." I noticed her hesitate with the other injection then continue quickly and as soon as she finished I started to feel better. "Are you feeling better Izuku?" She asked as she patched me up with a bandaid of a hero I hadn't yet seen.
"Mhm..." She gently wiped away my tears and helped me onto my feet to walk me back to my room.
"I'm sorry Izuku, I wish you didn't have to go through all of this."
"It's okay Mrs. Gia it's gonna help me get better right? We just have to look at the positives!" I said only to see Mrs. Gia get a displeased look on her face.
"Yea... It's gonna help you get better..."
As we walked back to my room Mrs. Gia told me about the hero on my bandaid. He was an underground hero whose name was Eraserhead. It was really cool to learn about the many heroes that existed. "Mrs. Gia I hope I can get better soon so I can become a hero."
"I'm sure you will be better before you know it Izu, now why don't you and Teddy go eat up okay?" I nodded and went into my room while waving bye to Mrs. Gia as the door shut.

This one will be updated about once a month as a break from focusing on my other books, kind of just something I've been storming up for a bit. I plan to continue on updating the others as I go. I hope you enjoy this one as this one has so far almost caused me to have a mental breakdown from overthinking. (I find this funny so for anyone concerned don't be.)
