Chapter 1

Warning: This fan fiction is a joke about the funny rivalry between Singapore schools and is meant to be sarcastic. This fan fiction does not represent an accurate description of the schools and the students in the schools mentioned. The writer/s would like to apologise if this fuels any hatred or toxicity between the schools. Chapter 1

"Why must her open house be on the same date as mine? Not only that, but also at the same time too! Can you believe it?" RGS complained in frustration, failing to keep her composure as the last straw in her mind snapped into half. RI, who had been tolerating her childish tantrums everyday, finally had had enough. Sighing, he simply strode away from RGS' booth to ACSI's, hoping that would help avoid his ears getting hurt. The latter was a dear friend of his and he wanted to help set up the booth. RGS won't mind that. After all, RI had only gone to her booth as it was the right thing to do as an older brother. However, he realised that his ears would break if he stayed there any longer.

"HCI isn't here yet?" ACSI questioned as RI came to lend him a hand by helping him unfold the poster he was carrying. "Why? Am I not enough that you would want HCI?" RI enquired as he pushed himself closer to ACSI, whispering into his ear. "Such a whore you are, ACSI. I'm literally right in front of you and you ask for another man. Do I not satisfy you enough? Are you asking for punishment?" RI locked his fingers with ACSI as he smiled sinisterly. Eyes looking anywhere except for RI, ACSI stuttered, changing the topic by asking why RGS was in a bad mood as it looked like she was having a stroke. "Being childish as always. NY is having her open house on the same date and time as hers and she started throwing a tantrum. I think she's being unreasonable." RI deadpanned, patting ACSI's head. The two could only stare at RGS as she made a fool of herself, stomping and growling to herself in front of other schools. How uncouth.

"Sorry we're late. Massive traffic jams in our area. Can't believe it," HCI's voice echoed through the hall as he entered with his sister, NYGH tailing behind him. Mummers arose as schools began whispering among themselves due to HCI and NYGH's unusual late arrival. They were known for being as punctual as a clock, being the first few to arrive.

"It would have been better if you didn't show up at all..." RGS muttered under her breath as she rolled her eyes at NY, who was hiding behind HCI. Coward.

It was an important day for all the secondary schools since it was the only day they could promote their beloved school to the public, specifically the Primary 5 and 6 students. The schools will be asked to assemble at a hall in one of the schools and to set up their booths to receive visitors. There was no way NYGH and HCI would miss such an opportunity to 抢人, to come to their school instead of RI and RGS. HCI was an easygoing guy so his rivalry with RI was decent and manageable. Maybe if HCI stopped approaching ACSI, it would be better. The same, however, cannot be said for RGS and NY. They were rivals, competitive academic rivals to be exact. NYGH was rising to the top and RGS hated that. First place was hers and hers only, no one can have it other than her. RGS wanted to see NY crumble under her. She wanted to witness how NY would cry and beg for her to stop.

"Just thinking about her under and below me gives me the adrenaline," RGS giggled as she glanced at HCI and NY starting to set up their 'glamorous' booths that will attract their oh so many students. Everyone wants first place, not second.

Once HCI had finished setting up, he initially was going to help NY but other schools started to flock around him, blocking his way to his sister. "HCI! Why were you late today? Is it that NY brat? I was waiting for you!" NHH squealed as she shoved her way so that she was right in front of HCI. "I was waiting for you too! She just arrived, I came earlier just for you! You could've texted me so I could ask my driver to go pick you up!" RVHS exclaimed as she pushed NHH away from HCI. Exactly how are you going to save me from a traffic jam with a car... "Can't you see I was talking to him?" NH shouted as she slapped RV' shoulder. RV did ot have enough time to react in time as a stinging slap hit her. A tear could be seen as RV started to throw hands as well. A catfight broke out as the two schools began to pull each other's hair, scratching each other while HCI made a run for it to NY. Lil sis please save your big bro!

On the other side were MGS and SCGS' booths. MGS sipped her grape juice as she sat on top of SCGS' lap, "Look at him, lmao. NH and RV desperate fr." SCGS snorted as she hugged MGS close to her, watching the fight as she munched on her popcorn she had brought just for this moment. "And I thought his bowlcut wouldn't get him any simps at all." MGS wheezed at SCGS bluntness, slightly choking on her juice.

"Whew," NY started as she wiped the sweat from her forehead, "setting up the posters is so hard. And I forgot to bring my stuffed toys to show off. It's fine, I suppose. I have the stickers." She had just finished her 自言自语, when RGS snatched her hand and dragged her away.
