Using the edge of the ruler, she uses it to take roughly through my hair.

Mrs. Davies has always been up my ass since the beginning of time, always wanting to catch me in one of my stunts after the day I spray-painted her car; both in and out, mistaking it for another. How did she know it was my handwork? Well, it's still a mystery to me.

I sighed in relief when the principal, poked his greying head through the door. "Have you found the culprit?" He asked her, giving her a scrutinizing stare. His glasses as always, covered half of his face, making it hard to read his facial expressions.

"No, but I'm sure she's the one." Mrs. Davies said, quitting her movements as she pointed her artificial nails at me.

The principal glanced at me, giving me a quick once-over, he shook his head, looking back at Mrs. Davis with displeasure. "And that makes you harass her." He asked nonchalantly with a raised eyebrow, hands folded behind his back. One thing I loved about principal Donwell was his laid-back easy-going personality.

Mrs. Davies, looked at him with confusion, mouth agape in disbelief, before she finally "Sorry sir, but I wasn't doing any of that, I'm sure it was –"

He cut her off, halfway. "Mrs. Davies, I  do not need a scandal going around, that one of my teachers was caught harassing her student." He looks back at me. "Get back to your chair."

I nodded my head with a small thank you as I sidestepped the teacher, walking back quickly to my chair, I could feel the daggers from her stares. I bet she was fuming on the inside, I could already picture her; all red-faced, horns on her head, fire oozing from her ears as her breaths comes out smoky.

Passing by Anita, I gave her a quick fist bump before taking the unoccupied sit beside her. "That was close." She whispered, staring at me, wide-eyed in relief. "Your okay, right?." I gave her a nod, with a small smile.

"Are you sure you checked everywhere for the key, sometimes I overlook things as well?" The principal interrogated her, running his hands down his face with a sigh. " did you check your pockets as well?". Everyone could already feel the stress, coming out in waves from him—it was depressing. Poor man.

"Yeah, I did check everywhere, a single key can't just disappear from a whole bunch of keys. " She replied, running her hands through her office gown.

"Was the CCTV footage checked?"

I looked at Anita, who had her lips covered in between her hand, trying not to burst out in giggles. I smirked, making eye contact with her.

"The whole footage was fried up." She looked in my direction, glaring at me with clenched teeth. "The culprit just had–, "She paused, eyes widening as she pulled out the key. " I swear, it wasn't there when I checked earlier." Confusion dripped from her tone, glancing at me with squinted brow. I cupped my face against the table with a smile, shrugging at her.

She pointed at me with a scoff. The principal's stare was directed toward me as well. "I'm sure she was the one who put it back."

"And do you have any proof to prove your claims?." The principal asked with disinterest.

She nodded, pointing towards the students. " I'm sure one of you must have seen when she dumped it. "She said, waiting for a response but everyone kept quiet, staring back at her. " Right.?." She added.

"Mrs. Davies, meet me in my office, right now. " The principal said, shaking his head disappointedly as he walked out of the classroom.

Giving me a look, I couldn't understand, she walked off behind him.

Once the door was closed, everyone busted out laughing. Anita nudged my side. "You got it right?."

"What do you think? Don't you trust your bestie anymore?" I said, getting the stack of papers, I had photocopied and stolen earlier from the storage room from my backpack.

"So how much do you think we'd make this time.? " She asked, eyeing the papers with a wide smile, to which I shrugged. "Who knows?... We might be the next billionaires to appear on television."

"You mean as the next criminals of Beaverton Hillsdale? "

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever fits in with your dictionary."
