Wubbox's POV
I believe a good hour has passed since we started our conversation.
When she found out I could already speak fluently we moved onto learning the names of the 'celestials.'
I kept asking question after question. What are we standing on? What were those sounds coming from your mouth? Why are you pale blue? Maybe- maybe not that one. But we talked for a long time.
Eventually it got to the concepts of music. Then the teachings of family. Somehow.
She said a mom is somebody who created another one of their species. A dad is somebody who is really really really good friends with the mom. And aunts and uncles are like... relatives of a mom or dad.
"So that makes you my mom?" I asked.
"Yep!" She clapped her hands together.
"Okay... and... The other Celestials are like my aunts and uncles?" I asked, turning around to see the others talking to one another... doing something with their hands, they sat on the edge where round things of different kinds and colours appear and fall off the ledge.
"Yea." She said, turning around to watch my gaze. She paused for a bit before speaking up.
"You can call me mom if you'd like."
"Rather call you creator rather than mom for now." I shrugged.
She looked downcast for a moment before speaking up again. "You're wondering about the eggs, are you?"
"Eggs?" I asked. I suddenly realized something, "They're dropping eggs from that height!?"
"Oh Nonono!" My creator spluttered. "When we push them off the ledge- they TELEPORT! To the world below."
"There are many more monsters asides from us." She explains. "Wonderful right? What they're doing is creating new life and bringing it into the world below."
"World below?" That sounds interesting... I wonder if I could play with them. I carefully took a peek over the ledge to see if I could see the world below, but all I could see were these clouds.
"I thought the mom creates the new monster..."
"We- er well. We bring more souls into the monster world to—- populate it! The mom's aren't the uh- only creators."
"Monsters..." I mumbled.
"Yeah." she sighed dreamily, "We celestials are the first monsters to have been brought into the monster realm... and in turn, we create all the monsters using our power to inhabit the world below."
I turned back around to meet her gaze, there was something I was wondering about. "Then are there other's like me you made, and dropped into that world?" Her eyes softened before shaking her head no.
"You see Wubbox, our element is in a rank called supernatural. In order for a electric type monster to be made, you must garner materials for every single one and awaken it with the power of monster souls... Or eggs."
"So that means?"
"Supernatural monsters are extremely rare and tedious to make."
"Huh." I murmured. That was quite blunt.
I looked off in the direction mom was looking in. That's when I noticed the colours above us "Why is the bright blue thing above us turning black?" I asked "It's getting darker."
I looked around in slight distress my system telling me that there was a sort of change going on in the atmosphere, and shuffled nervously in place.
"It is all right," Creator spoke. "This, is called night."
"Night?" I asked. "It looks like something out of the void."
"Oh, yes it does at first. But when the stars come out... it's beauty is unmatched to even the flow of space."
"What."
"Aw, stop your whining and just watch...." she grumbled, snuggling close to me as we started our watch on the descending darkness.
————————————————————————————
I nearly fell asleep, twice. I kept catching myself nodding off because of how comfortable the silence was. My creators warmth didn't even help be stay awake, but rather. Brought me further to threaten me into sleep. I do not know how she does this... but it is clear she has done this before.
"Wubbox? Are you awake?" She asked, interrupting the silence between us.
"Mmph..." I made a sound that said; 'yes, I'm awake. But barely.' If we were not rotating on this miniature island. I definitely would have fallen asleep. My eyes were starting to get heavy.
I eventually did fall asleep, only to be awoken by a rush of energy gathering into my chest. I shot up, aware of what was going on and what I was doing.... Ah right! Stargazing!
I looked over at creator, but she just smirked as she held her fancy stick in her hand. I guess she touched my orb with the spark in that staff, causing me to absorb some of the energy and shooting straight up like how you'd flinch after a injury.
Man, where am I getting this vocabulary?
"Haha... very funny." I murmured. Shooting a sideways glare at her.
"Aw, do not be that way my dear!" Galvana cooed, holding both her hands together and pressing it against her cheek. She paused for a little before looking at the sky and pointing up.
"Look at the stars in the big black ink...."
I followed the finger. And I spotted the white dots littering the black skies. Each not bigger than a.... What's the word. An eye? Speck of dust? Yet I can still see the light that radiates off them.
"Tell me what you feel, and what do you think?"
"It's cold."
"...I mean what do you feel and think about the stars."
"They're like souls."
"Souls?"
"Of the new eggs waiting to be brought to life or amount of dead monsters that had already passed in.
"Haha-" she chuckled. "It's not time for your emo phase yet. You were just created yesterday! Let's not think about death for now."
"Yeah," I was quick to agreed. "Let's save that for another book."
I rested the orbs that made up elbows on the orbs that made up my knees. Holding my face in my metallic hands. The stars glimmering on the black canvas.. What the hell is all this vocabulary?
"Another book?" Galvana spoke.
"Nothing to worry about creator."
I sat up straight. Rolling my neck to stretch out the electrolytes that held it in place. "Where did you go the last time it got dark?" I pondered. Because yesterday, the day I was created. I was leaned against the observatory when I entered sleep mode for the first time. Nobody was there. They all left me alone.
"Well... we went to the hidden temple under starhenge, love."
"Hidden temple?"
