City Hospital.

Manohar entered the hospital with a poker face as he was led to a room with a man attached to a respiratory with his eyes closed.

The nurse who led Manohar into the room excused herself feeling the tension about to erupt in the room.

"Why did you call me here Anant Malik? " The anger in his voice woke Anant Malik the younger brother of Arvind Malik up.

He tried to get up but found it difficult because of how weak he was and he looked up to Manohar for help but Manohar stood his ground and Anant had no other choice but to help himself up.

Manohar never liked the Malik brothers but he couldn't help feeling sorry for Anant who  was in his last stage of liver cancer and he has a few weeks to live.

Manohar was shocked when he received a call from the hospital on behalf of Anant.

He didn't want to come but hearing that Anant had something to confess about Ratna, his mother and wife, he couldn't resist coming and so here he was.

"I have somethting to confess to you and I want to die free of some of my guilt." Anant said in a feeble tone and coughed. "I was part of the reason for all the mess in our family....... Do you remember Sunita? " Manohar nodded.

"She was Arvind's first love and a friend of Manorama....... But why are you bringing her up now? " Manohar asked confused as to why he was bringing that gold digger's name up now.

"She was framed by your mother, my mother and Ratna with the help of Manorama to separate her from Arvind so that Ratna can have Arvind. "

Manohar started fuming in anger hearing what Anant was accusing his family of such treachery and he marched up to him and grabbed his collar.

"Don't you dare slander my family...... We all know Sunita was using Arvind to get out of poverty and Manorama overheard her saying so in her drunk state..... Why will Manorama lie and hurt the friend who was like a sister to her? "

For some reason Manohar let go off Anant seeing the truth in his eyes and deep down he knew a dying man will never lie but he couldn't tolerate any accusation against them.

"She was promised you...... Let me start from the being....... You and I know Ratna was always obsessed with Arvind since childhood and you even warned her about it....... She couldn't stand Arvind ignoring her especially for a maid and she was the one who exposed Arvind's and Sunita's affair to my mother...... Maa hated this and together with your mother, they paid Manorama whose father was sick at that time and she needed the money so she lied to plant doubt in Arvind's mind and after that, Deviyani and my mother drugged Sunita and made a friend of hers and Mami to sleep by her to look like they were having an affair........ Arvind believed it even though Sunita professed her innocence and even revealed the pregnancy she was going to surprise Arvind with but he didn't believe her and my mother and Deviyani taking advantage of this forced a marriage between Ratna and Arvind...... You were in London for you studies when all this was happening...... Ratna immediately got pregnant with Anjali and mocked Sunita for having an illegitimate son while she had a legitimate daughter and Sunita felt so betrayed that she killed herself  and her son."

Manohar stumbled backwards as the past hit him.

He remembered his mother forcing him to study in London and he came back four years later to a shocking discovery.

Ratna was married to Arvind and had a three years old daughter was was heavily pregnant with another child.

He wanted to confront his mother and Ratna about the the marriage because he knew how Arvind loved Sunita but his mother told him Sunita betrayed Arvind and Ratna was there to comfort him and they fell in love and seeing his sister looking so happy and Arvind being a loving husband and father, he stopped.
