I know this friendship thing won't be easy but this brat is on an another level!!!

*Flash back*

"Kisaki kun! That quiz was hard right?"

"No."
..............
"Kisaki kun!! let's be partners!"

"No."
........................
"Kisaki kun! Let's be friends!"

"No."
*Flash back ends*

But I won't give up! I'll get him to be my friend no matter what whether he likes it or not!!!

As I stood up to ask him to lunch two girls come near me and said.

"(L/N) San we've noticed that you've been trying to get close to kisaki."

"E er yes! I thought I could be friends with him." I replied.

"Well we just want to tell you to be careful since there have been rumors that he's involved with dangerous delinquents."

"Yeah and the way he's so quiet and don't talk to anyone is so suspicious." The other girl said.

I just sigh and said "I'm grateful that you look out for me but it's not ok to spread false rumors. That can damage his reputation."

Unbeknownst to me a pair of blue eyes were watching me with surprise.

As I kept lecturing the girls, in the corner of my eyes I saw kisaki stand up and went out of the classroom.

'huh?'

"I'll talk later bye!"

I wave off the girls and immediately spy on kisaki.

'why is he leaving?'

Kisaki went to the back of the school and leave through a small hole in the fance. After that he went through many trees and finally came to his destination. A garbage place where a few delinquents were waiting for him.

I hid behind a wall to listen and to protect kisaki.

"H here it's finished."said kisaki.

"Huuuhhhh! It's supposed to be finished yesterday!!!"

"I I'm sorry it just th......my mum was just...."

"Ohhh so you're a mama boy huh!?" grabbed him by the shirt.

"U ugh!!"

I didn't know what came over me but as soon as the guy grabbed kisaki my body moved on its own and I threw my Lunch box at the guy.

"Ugh! What the hell!!?!?"

I immediately grabbed kisaki's hand and ran.

"Hey! Come back you brats!!!"

I can still hear them yelling at us but all I could think of was

*Shitttt why am here!? Why did I even tried to save him!?!*

As we were running kisaki shook off my hand and yelled.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!?!"

"H huh? W what..."

"I WOULD'VE BEEN FINE ON MY OWN!! I DON'T NEED YOU TO COME AND SAVE ME!!"

He finally looked up at me and he looked angry but I can see the sadness in his eyes.

"W what do you mean? We don't have time for this we need to go back to the school before they catch us!"

"WHY DO YOU CARE!?! IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!?? Y YOU HAVE BEEN NOTHING BUT AN ANNOYING PEST WHO WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE FOR THE WHOLE WEEK!!" Kisaki yelled out with frustration with tears streaming down his face.

"H huh? I'm just worried about you. You always looked distressed. So I just wanna know of your ok."

"STOP!! JUST STOP IT!! DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT!! DON'T LOOK AT ME WITH PITY! DON'T ACT LIKE YOU ACTUALLY CARE FOR ME!!"

"I.."

"IT'S ALWAYS THE SAME!! ALL OF YOU ACT LIKE YOU CARE AND IN THE END WERE JUST USING ME. *Sob* I'M SICK... AND TIRED OF LIVING UP TO PEOPLE EXPECTATIONS. I'M SICK OF BEING PERFECT!!!"

as I opened my mouth to talk the next line he says shook me to the core.

"In the end... Nobody will truly be sympathetic with each other."

I....This kid is just like me in my past life. Because of how that woman treated me I thought the same. People saying they love you but at the same time hurting you. Living a life that is designed by someone else. Not having free will what so ever.

As I watch kisaki cries I knelt down and hugged him.

*Gasp* " W what are you.."

"I'm sorry it must have been awful for you. I'm so sorry. You don't need to live that way. You don't deserve any of this. You should be living the way you want. You're still run around be an idiot. Instead of this."

"H how can I even do that!?! If I'm not perfect than what am I for? If I'm not what I am then there'll be nothing left for me. I'll be left alone.

"That's not true."

"Huh?"

"You'll have your first ever equal friend." I held up my pinky in front of him.

*Hic* "Thank you. Thank you " He started crying, linked his pinky with mine and held my hand and cry.I held him and let him cry on my shoulder.

*Timeskip*

"Here." I said as I give a juice bottle from the vanding machine.

*Sniff* "thank you. So what are we going to do?"

"Umm go home I guess. It's already evening and we can't go back to school."

"Yeah." He looked sad saying that.

"Um sooo let's meet up at my house tomorrow. Do you know the cafe cozy corner?"

"Yeah that's a popular cafe."

"Ah! That's good then. Let's meet up tomorrow ok. Mum's cooking is Stella!"

Kisaki's pov

"Yeah sure!" I said and wave as I stare at her go. I swallow the words that I wanted to say to her.

'please don't go.'

I walked home alone and as I opened the door

"TETTA!!!"

I flinched at the voice but I slowly made my way to the living room.

And there I saw my mother cigarette in hand watching tv. Before I can even greet her. She immediately turned to me yelled "I heard from the school that you weren't there. Where were you!?!"

"Mother I"

She grabbed my hair and yelled
"you ungrateful brat how would the neighborhood think of my son is skipping school!?".

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'll be better please! Forgive me please mom!!"

She threw me to the ground. And yelled "GET OUT OF MY SITE!!!"

I crawled to my room to my small futon.
I laid under the cover and cried. My ribs hurts. I want to die. I looked at my hand where (y/n) had held. Her hands feels so warm. being in her arms feels so welcoming.

"(Y/N)...."

I fell asleep only thinking about my weekend with (y/n) my first ever real friend. And for the first time in my life I smiled genuinely.
