It was his Dad and Dan said"Maddie look I'm sorry ok but you guys gotta grab as much stuff as you can and run with us QUICK"maddie looked at him and nodded o-ok u-umm come on sadie" they both ran around and grabbed all of thier favorite stuff and thier most needed stuff like medicine, food etc.
After they packed everything in thier suitcases, they ran out the window with muffin in thier hands and ran with Dan and Dan's dad.
They ran through city's of new york and ran to a working car, then they hoped in and drove, they just drove nothing else, they had guns with them that they were ready but then Maddie say something that made her heart stop... It was Cara dead and she had to drive past her body, when she say it at first she screamed and cried(properly the 200th time that day. She also looked around and saw everyone dead, noone had survived and people who didn't die were probably zombies.
Everyone was shocked on how fast this zombie virus had spread I mean it only broke out yesterday and what approximately 8billion people are dead or zombies,thats insane.
To what seemed like hours, they managed to get to the countryside, they say a farm that still looked in good shape so they went in and looked around, it was actually another man, tall, long bearded, and with brown eyes, the man looked behind himself and jumped to see 3 random people standing there.
