I heard a notification from my phone.
I really didn't want to check, but it could be important so I decided to check anyways.

It was a message from Kevin.
It said,

Huh? Why would Kevin do something like this for me? Weird, but I'm not complaining so I placed my phone back on the nightstand and head back to sleep until I ACTUALLY had the energy to get ready for today.

~Timeskip 1-2 hours~

I finally woke up, and I felt... great! I hopped out of bed, stretched, and started getting ready for the day (just imagine you're having your best day).

After I was done with my daily routine, I walked to the living room still in my pjs, and put on some horror movies to pass time, not like I have anything planned anyways.

~Another Timeskip 2-3 hours~

After watching two or three movies, I got bored. I checked the time and noticed that I still had some daytime to spare, so I decided to go out! I cleaned the living room up and walked to my room to get dressed.
I put on my favorite outfit, then grabbed my coat and my car keys, headed out the door and started my day, for real this time.

As I got into my car and started it, my mood changed again. I felt energized and joyful, to cautious and aware.

something didn't feel right.

I look around my car and a little bit outside but nothing was there. then...

"BOO!!"
a kid popped up the side of the passenger seat window, I screamed like hell fire.
I quickly got out of my car and paced over the other side of the car where kid was.
"WHAT THE HELL IS- oh, it's you."
It was Roy; his other friends, Robert and Ross were waiting for him impatiently.
"The hell's your problem dude?! You scared the shit outta me!!" I yelled to Roy
He was just laughing his ass off, pointing at me and crying because of how 'funny' this situation is.
"You should've seen you're face! It was hilarious, you got scared as sh-" just before Roy could finish his sentence, Ross pulled him aside. Then Robert walked up to me.
"Hey, sorry about that, my friend and I were- uh- trying to talk him out of it."
"Tsh, it's whatever, You guys are kids so i'll let this slide" I then look over to Roy and shout "SANTA WONT LIKE THIS!!!"
"SHUT UP!" Roy yells back. He mumbles something to himself and stomps off.
"Sorry again!" His friend yells to me as he catches up with the other two.
I sigh and head back to my car to ACTUALLY start my day.

As I drove down to town, I wanted to get some coffee; so I decided to grab some. Maybe I can get Kevin something too, for caring about me.

I arrived to the coffee shop. I don't really know what Kevin likes but i'm sure i'll figure something out. I parked the car, locked it, and started walking to the front door. Outside the coffee shop was a table with two chairs. The people occupying them were cops; I believe they were Jack and John but they were talking about something.
As the nosy person I am, pretended to be on my phone. I try to listen in and hear what they're talking about"

"...strikes every Halloween. We need to find him before any more bodies show up."
"agreed, we need to find- are you waiting for someone ma'am?" one of the cops asked me; damn, they caught me.

"Oh, u-uhm, i was just...waiting for a friend, b-but i guess they're notshowingupsorrytobotheryou, bye!" i say quickly as I headed inside.
They looked at each other with a confused expression, but dropped it and continued with their conversation.

As I went inside, I got into line before it got any longer.
I waited in line until it was my turn to order.
"Hello there, what would you like on this spoooky day today!" the worker said with excitement

"Hello! may i take a (favorite coffee) and a...(another coffee choice) please; to go!" I asked, trying to match the same energy.

"Alrighty, your total is $13.32 and it'll be right out!"

As I waited for the coffee, I stood there. Thinking about what the cops were saying. I wonder if the person they were talking about was...Bob Velseb? Maybe. High chance.

"Y/N!!" the worker called
Oh, my coffees were ready, enough thinking!
I grabbed the coffees and headed back to my car.

Hopefully Kevin likes the coffee I chose :))
