(The next morning) "Max wake up, you gotta get ready for school" Max's mom said. "Mom I'm tired, you go to school for me." "Max you better get up for school or no pancakes for breakfast" Max's mom said. "Alright I'm getting up." Why do I always fall for the old breakfast trick. I guess it's because I love pancakes.
(Ding dong) "Can I help you" Max's mom said. "Is Max here, I'm John" Johnny said. "Yes, he'll be down in just a moment. Max, there's a boy here for you. He said his name is John" Max's mom said. John? Why is here? Well, I guess I gotta go find out. "Hey John." "Hey Max, I was wondering if you wanted to walk to school together?" Johnny said. "Sure, just let me grab my bag. Mom I'm leaving, see you after school." "Alright, have a good day Maxie" Max's mom said. Ugh, why she always have to call me that. "Your mom's cool" Johnny said. "Thanks." I wonder if he heard the name my mom calls me.
"Ouch." "What's wrong?" Johnny said. "My foot hurts. But I'll be alright." "Are you sure? I can take u back to your house" Johnny said. "No, my mom would be angry that I didn't go to school." "Then we'll go to my house, an ice pack should make it feel better" Johnny said. "No, it's ok. I'll be fine. Ouch!" "Nope you're going to my house, get on my back. I'll carry you there" Johnny said. Should I get on his back? My foot really hurts. "Alright but we can't take to long." Oh my god, I'm going to Johnny house. I wonder if his parent would be ok if I was there. "Well, here we are. MOM, DAD, ANYBODY HERE! I guess everybody left. Take a seat in the front room. I'll be be right back" Johnny said. "Alright." Johnny has a nice house. "Here you go" Johnny said. "Oh my god it's cold!" "It's supposed to be cold, it's an ice pack" Johnny said smiling. "I don't care, it's cold." "Do you want to feel better?" Johnny said. "Yes." "Then stand up" Johnny said. I hope it doesn't hurt anymore. "Wow, that was quick." "Yup, now we can go to school" Johnny said. I wish we could've stayed at his house.
