Again, I don't own the song or Yu-Gi-Oh! just my idea!
—————————————————Yami's POV:
I gave the twins over to Heba and kissed their heads. "I'll be right back. Y'all cheer loud for me." They both smiled and waved as I turned to walk away."Five minutes guys. Yami get up there." Atem said with his clipboard and hurried me up on stage. I took my place and looked back at some of my best friends. "Let's make it great." I said before turning to see the curtain raise and the fans go crazy. A rush of excitement rose in me. "Damn, y'all look fired up! I wrote this song for the love of my life, it's called "Viva La Vida"."
I smirked before looking back at them to start. No one's POV:
Yami nodded his head to the sound of them start playing.
Yami: I used to rule the world
Seas would rise when I gave the word
Now in the morning I sleep alone
Sweep the streets I used to ownYami closed his eyes as he let the words roll off his tongue. When he opened them he looked straight at Yugi, knowing he'd be watching him.
Yami: I used to roll the dice
Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes
Listened as the crowd would sing,
"Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!"
One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sandHe took the mic off the stand and let the stand fall down his leg before kicking back to his hand and singing with all the emotions he felt.
Yami: I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringing
Roman cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
I know St. Peter won't call my name
Never an honest word
And that was when I ruled the worldHe walked closer the the edge of the stage as he sang, never looking away from Yugi, but he couldn't tell his reaction. Was he smirking?
Marik and Bakura played a small guitar solo as they walked closer towards each other. When done they walked closer to the edge and played their hearts out.
Yami: It was a wicked and wild wind
Blew down the doors to let me in
Shattered windows and the sound of drums
People couldn't believe what I'd become
Revolutionaries wait
For my head on a silver plate
Just a puppet on a lonely string
Oh who would ever want to be king?Yami knew the next part might spark something in Yugi, but didn't realize it would spark something in him either. Making him sing the next part with fire in his eyes.

But that was when I ruled the worldJoey stepped closer to the mic set up for him and got ready to sing as Yami stepped back and listened to the sound of the music.
As the small solo came to an end Joey sang softly as he played.
Joey: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh [5x]
Yami stepped back up the the edge and jumped before starting to sing again, making the crowd go insane and put their hands in the air.

But that was when I ruled the worldYami stepped back and looked straight at Yugi, only to see Yugi wink and take the hand of some guy into the bathrooms set up behind the watching area.
Joey: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh [4x]
Yami waved at the crowd. "Y'all were great!" He yelled before the curtain came down and he began walking off the stage and starting to cry. Atem came to him and put a hand on his shoulder. "Don't let my kids see me like this, please." He begged. Atem quickly walked to Heba before he got over to Yami and pulled him with him to get water for the band.
"Yami, he's only doing it to get a rise out of you. You've go to be strong. He knows how to push your buttons." Joey said as he hugged his friend. "I think your song not only got to him but the other two as well. Look."
Yami looked over to the empty seat that was Yugi's, now filled with an irritated looking Yugi. Ryou and Malik were talking amongst themselves and they looked like they were about to cry. "Oh wow. They do look different." He said before wiping his face and fixing himself up.
"Daddy! Daddy!!" He heard his kids scream. He turned and smiled as they came running up to him. He picked them both up before hugging them. "You sounded great daddy!" Yuki said before hugging him. "Can you sing again?" Yuma asked.
"Not yet. I have to wait my turn. Y'all want to go sit down?" He asked. Not only to his little ones but the rest of his band. They all nodded and followed Yami to the seats right behind Yugi and the rest. Yuma and Yuki looked up at Yami before laying their heads on his chest with sad expressions that their other daddy paid them no mind.
Malik on the other hand turned around to look at them. "Couldn't y'all have sat somewhere else? There are plenty of chairs." He glared right at Marik.
"What's the matter beautiful? Scared I might win you back?" Marik asked before Malik quickly turned back around. But not before he saw the small blush that rose in his cheeks. Marik smirked with accomplishment at Bakura who smirked as well.
"Would you idiots shut up so I can hear my competition?" Yugi glared at Marik before looking ahead of himself. Marik didn't say anything but looked at Yami. Only to see Yami shake his head and look down at his kids. Marik understood and sat back to listen.
