Sneaking out today had been the best decision Adrien had ever made, not only jad he helped that old man but he had also got a new ring which was so cool.

The ring was black with a green paw print on the top, he had been to busy hyping it up he hadn't even bothered to put it on yet. That and he didn't want his dad to see it and figure out he had been sneaking out.

He was pulled from that depressing thought by a soft knock at his door and rushed over to open it. Natalie stood there with her usual unreadable face.

"I'm sorry Adrien, your father will not be attending you for dinner tonight."

Gee what a surprise, the emotionally unavailable father not being there for his son. God, why did his dad have to be such a cliche.

"Thanks Natalie, I am not hungry anyway." Adrien shut the door and locked it trying not to let his disappointment control him.

He wasn't surprised, his father had been like this for 3 years since his mother's disappearance. Sometimes Adrien wished they had both gone, then he wouldn't be left with this feeling of false hope that his father cared for him.

Finally letting himself lose his composure he threw one of the expensive statues his dad had bought him as some form of love across the room watching it smash and crumble on the floor.

The ring caught his attention again and sk he put it on. There was a flash then a black flying mouse appeared out of nowhere.

Adrien tumbled back in surprise falling on his ass before crawling forward to get a better look at this weird creature.

"What. What are you?"

"I'm a kwami, more specifically I'm the kwami of destruction my names Plagg."

"You can talk??" Something lit up inside Adrien as he took this marvellous creature in.

"No, you're just imagining things."

Adrien laughed.

"Where did you come from? Are you an Alien? What is a kwami?"

"Slow down Adrien, and I will explain everything, once you get me cheese."

Adriens heart sank. This strange and mysterious creature wants, cheese? Unsure but wanting answers Adrien asked Gorrila to get some cheese.

He watched in grim amazement as this tiny thing gulfed down an entire wheel of Camembert before letting out a massive burp.

"So now that I've eaten here's the gist. So basically you're a super hero now, like the side kick but still a hero and you work with lady bug, you gotta protect her and in order to do that you need your miraculous which is the ring and in order to activate it you say, plag claws out."

He hadn't let Plagg finish before he yelled.

"Plagg claws out"

Cue magical girl transformation.

When Adrien looked at himself in the mirror he grinned. He couldn't even recognise himself. He was dressed head to toe in black leather and his eyes were glowing green. And when he grinned, he noticed his canines were sharp.

He turned around to ask plagg how to turn back but he was gone.

"Plagg?" His hip beep and he noticed a weird staff thing attached to his hip. It was flashing, a message read plagg claws in.

"Plagg, claws in"

Reverse magical girl transformation

Did he really just do that? That was so cool. He had felt stronger and more powerful than he had ever before.

"Yes that just happened" plagg said from behind him.

"And I can do that whenever I want."

"As long as I've been recharged. You also has a power, when you shout cataclysm you can use it once to destroy something but then you have to hide before you change back. And be careful not to touch people."

Adrien took all this information in, but all he could hear was that he finally had the resources he needed to get out and away from here more often and easier.

With the biggest grin he shouted.

"Plagg claws out!"

And leapt from his bedroom window.

Paris was so quiet from above, probably had something to do with the fact less people leapt from roof top to roof top than he had originally thought.

Adrien had just made it to the Eiffle tower when a flash of black and red caught his attention leaping higher and higher up the old building. Who was that?
