                                The flower boy

As promised Forth come to his bank, and went straight to the manager’s office.

“Oh Sir Forth, what brings you here? Did something here?” the manager asked nervously. Forth rarely come to the bank so his sudden visited gave the manager chill.

“Why did you not give Wayo his loan yet?”

“The clerk said his plot was not clear so he asked...” the manager said after checking the file.

“Who is this clerk?” Forth asked, “Bring him here and ready to give the loan now.”

“Yes sir.”

Forth was checking the file when the door opened,

“Sir you called me?” nervousness was evident in the voice with the little stuttering.

“Are you the one who takes care of Wayo’s loan?” Forth asked without looking up from his file.

“Ye... Yes sir.”

“Why don't you give them away already?”

“Their plot was not clear enough so I...”

“I'm, tell the manager to give Wayo’s loan today itself and give terminal letter for the clerk.” Forth interrupted the younger employee coldly and walked away without looking at the employee.

Lam looked at the watery eyes of the young employee, that kid was in his early twentieth and joined about two months ago. He was so young that the others in his age would be now in University, studying. With a last look, Lam quickly followed Forth.

“Don’t be upset Beam. They are higher, we are lower, they don't know our hard-working, pain.” the manager said.

“Sir.” with a nod he also exits the room. As soon as he reaches his desk he let down his tears freely.

“Beam, hey what happened?” Pring, his desk mate asked.

“I was fired P’Pring, by sir Forth.”

“Why?”

“I asked the manager to check on the plot of Wayo’s but it seems like Wayo is their friend.” Beam said wiping his tears, “Then I'll go now.” with that she exited the bank only to meet with Wayo and Kit who were already informed by Forth.

“If you do as I said, you wouldn't be fired.” Wayo mocked with Kit laughed. Without saying anything he was worked away with a last glance.

With the money he had in his pocket, he brought his mother medicines and some vegetables and came home. Seeing his brother back so early, Phana, Beam’s younger brother run toward him and took the bags and asked,

“Why did you back so early, P’Beam?”

“I forgot to buy Mom’s medicine yesterday so he doesn't get to eat today. So...” Beam said.

At that time, their mother also came out and Beam gave her the medicine but he didn't tell them about getting fired from his work.

At that time Forth, Lam, Ming, Wayo, Kit and the other kid entered the house. Beam started getting nervous, afraid that they came about his work.

“Are you guys looking for someone?” Lein, Beam’s mother asked.

“Pha, bring Mon inside?” Beam said, “Mon, you go inside I know them.” and Phana helped his mother to go inside. After their father was dead, their mother started getting sick.
