The mission!(part 1)

Y/N POV

I wake up in my bed to the sound of a dove singing on my window, I crawled out of bed and walk towards the window only to trip and fall on my face.

Y/N:" Uuuuuuuugh....stupid carpet"

I then got back up and looked at the dove and it had another envelope, I grab it from the bird open it, and start to read aloud.

Y/N:" To Y/N L/N you are going on a mission the demon dwells in the southeast in the little town called Cherryblossom, Kill the demon and report back when finished with a mission. Your companion to help you with your mission is GENYA SHIAZUGAWA.

I then stop and reread the last part a few more times ( No way I'm going with Genya? I'm either loved by the gods or it's just a lucky coincidence, I need to get dressed for the mission).

I then opened my closet and put on the brown uniform with a skirt that's a bit short and my robe that was white with gold on the ends ( See the image in the intro) finally I put my angle wing hairclip's in and grab my sword, I then walk out of my room and into the kitchen to pack some lunches for me and Genya and packed some money in case we have to stay somewhere overnight and then I walk outside waiting for Genya in front of the mansion.

( I wonder what's taking him so long...Wait! is this like a date? nonononono it's a mission Y/n! just keep thinking like that! Missionmissionmissionmiss-wait when we hung out on Halloween was that a date? I don't think sooo...Maybe?OK STOP THINKING YOU HAVE A MISSION TO DO STOP AVOIDING IT Y/N!!) I then hear footstep's behind me and I turn around.

Y/N:" Genya! you ready?

He looks at me and then my outfit and then turn's his head away averting his gaze.

(shit did he hear my thought or something?)

Y/N:" Um....I packed you a lunch"

I then hear Genya chuckle and then open his bag to show two lunches.

Genya: "same here look's like we have two extra now"

I then looked at him in shock not only did he make me lunch but he made lunch for himself, Genya the scary dude made lunch! wow just wow.

Y/N:" great minds think alike I guess hee hee"

Genya:" So are we walking there or....?"

Y/N:" Oh um... were walking and then taking the train there...The train station is only five minutes away Let's go!" 

We then both start to walk together and it was well....awkward because none of us knew what to say to each other, As we walk in awkward silence we make it to the station.

Y/N:" Um....let's go grab our tickets"

We walk up to the ticket booth and we wait in line and finally, when we made it to the front we TRIED to buy our tickets.

Y/N:" Hi two ticket's to Cherryblossom, please

Ticket dude:" Oh that's a nice place is it for you and the boy's honeymoon?

I then blush and Genya turn's red ( oh no Genya's mad!)

Genya:" No......just to meet family...

Ticket dude:" Oh so you two are dating ok I get it you want to introduce the boy to your parents I get it! Have a nice day! good luck!"

We then walk away embarrassed( I don't know if that was funny or embarrassing....He thought I was dating Genya! I mean he's cute and all but......NO! Y/N WE ARE HERE FOR A MISSION!! Pull yourself together!)

I then slap both of my cheeks to focus only to have Genya flinch and then he gave me a weird look, I then turn to look at him and he turned his red face away,( Great now he thinks I'm an idiot whatever I'm here for the mission not for some hot boy my age...that's just a bonus...WAIT! what am I saying?!?!) I then slap both off my cheeks again to stop thinking and sit down on the train.

GENYA'S POV

As we walk towards the train to enter I hear a slapping sound and I turn to see y/n-san slapping both of her cheeks ( What is she doing?) She then catches me looking and I turn away embarrassed(she probably thinks I'm creepy when I look at her....but I can't help it she's pretty) We then board the train and as we sit down I hear another slap and it was again y/n.

Genya:" You ok?"

Y/N:" Y-yup! Uh...I just do that to stop thinking and to focus"

Genya:" What were you trying to stop thinking about?"

She then turns her head and face's the window( Shit was that a personal question?)   

Y/N:" Um...well it's nothing personal just something stupid"

She turns to me with a grin on her face and I turn away. ( Why is she so cute? I hope she didn't see my face), As the train depart we just sat there in awkward silence until she yawned and fell asleep...on my shoulder. 

Genya:" hey y/n-san..

I then see her sleeping on my shoulder  ( She looks so peaceful maybe just this once i will let her sleep) I eat my bento that I made as she sleeped on my shoulder.

BACK TO Y/N POV!

I wake up to the sound of Genya calling my name.

Genya: " Y/n wake up where here"

I then look at him then i slowly got up still half asleep.

Y/N: " Mmm wut? we here already? "

Genya then chuckles and walks off the train with me behind him.

Genya: " How are you still sleepy? You can't even talk right"

Y/N: " I'm not a morning person"

Suddenly I see a crow come down from the sky and land on Genya's shoulder ( He got a crow? That's weird I wonder why I got a dove, Zenitsu was the only other person I know that doesn't have a crow beside me).

Crow: " GO TO THE CHERRY BLOSSOM TREE PARK AT MIDNIGHT!! "

It then jumped off of Genyas shoulder and flew away.

Y/N: " Looks like we still have some time until midnight!"

Genya: " Lets look around the place and try to find clues"

I then turn around and hit someone.

Y/N : " Oh my god im so sorry! I-Mitsuri?"

Mitsuri: " Hi there y/n! how have you been?"

Y/N: " Good! we have so much to catch up on! are you here for a mission?"

Mitsuri: " Yup I'm here to help you and Genya with your mission because it might be one of the twelve kizuki! Anyways I heard that a Ramen place has a lot of info there why don't we all go there?"

Y/N: " I'm fine with that if Genyas ok with it!"

I turn to Genya and he looks away with a red face ( No really how does he get mad so easily maybe its because where with Mitsuri?)

Genya: "S-sure"

Mitsuri: " OK let's go!!
