A Day Before Enrollment

"Ms Y/N, this is where you shall be staying." I walk around the place walking towards the windows.

"Plutus, I presume we are on the outskirts of Plutus," I ask looking at the area in awe.

I could hear Hyunjin walk towards me as he placed himself beside me.

"Yes, this is the best I could do now," Hyunjin replies

"I don't have a problem with it, Hyunjin. I have a feeling that I will only be in this apartment for less than a month. I reply confidently, I know for sure at least they will invite me in to be a part of Plutus."

The silence between us.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Hyunjin asked with a worried expression on his face.

"What is this uncertainty you are emitting, Hyunjin."

"I can't help but be in fear for you Ms Y/N, I have a feeling that a lot of people are going to get hurt. Especially you, while talking to Don Cassano, he was in fear for you of this uncertainty being in this country with these vile people."

"What are you guys keeping from me."

"I do not know of Don Cassano's past nor his acquaintances with the Plutus 7, all I know is that the look on his face while talking about how you are here facing them, the emotion was something new and rare for me to see appear on Don Cassano's face and it wasn't pleasant Ms Y/N..."

"Okay then, shall we pack up and fly back to Italy then..."

"Really?" A surprised look on Hyunjin.

"No, I growl, I turn to face him looking straight into his eyes.

Do you think I fear them? Do you think I fear death? I shall and I will get revenge on whoever killed Yuna and let me not repeat myself do not ever install your uncertainty and your fear on me, if you don't feel good about it then leave I can do it myself as I have always done." I spit my words back at him.

A breath leaves Hyunjin's mouth as he closes his eyes.

"I apologise, Ms. Y/N."

There was an awkward silence between us both.

"I just.... I just want to keep you safe. Ms Y/N, you mean to a lot of people."

"That's something new, people have now started to care about me," I ask, tilting my head toward him with a small smirk on my face.

"A lot more than you think Ms Y/N..."

I look at him. Hyunjin is 5 years older than me. There is no possibility that he loves me more than a friend.

"Don't think I love you more than a friend Ms Y/N, it's just that you gave me a second chance in life, you made me breathe again from this cruel world. I owe you my life, I see you as my mother, my protector, and so I don't know what will happen if you ever were to get hurt or even killed. I think I will go insane."

'You are not my Para, Hyunjin. You are not bound with me. "

"I know that even if we are not bounded, we are bounded by the invisible string of fate, I made a blood pact when I entered the Cassano Clan. The moment that first blood dripped on the Cassano stone, it had become my responsibility to protect the Cassano Clan and personally protect the same person who saved me.'
