After a nice warm bath, Molly was dressed in a clean nappy and onesie, cuddling on the couch with her daddy. He rubbed her back as she sucked on her dummy, eyes drooping.
"Alright baby, let's get you in your crib." Lestrade cooed. Molly teared up and shook her head.
"Stay wit daddy." She babbled, clinging to him. Lestrade smiled and kissed her head.
"Okay, daddy will hold you for a little longer." Lestrade said softly. He didn't want to make his baby cry if she wanted to be held.
Molly resumed sucking her dummy and leaned her head against Lestrade's chest. He held her close and kissed her head again, enjoying the quiet afternoon.
Soon enough, Molly fell asleep, and lestrade set her down in her crib. "Night night baby, have a good nap." Lestrade crooned, smoothing mollys hair back.

Sherlock sleepily opened his eyes and looked up at the mobile above him. Even though he could hardly move his head, he knew that he was back in his normal nursery.
The door opened and Moriarty came into view, making Sherlock smile.
"Is someone awake? Look at how young you are, Lockie. Daddy's very proud of you." He cooed, scooping Sherlock up and holding him close. He patted the seat of Sherlock's nappy and tutted.
"You little stinker, let's get you changed." He cooed, laying Sherlock down on the changing table.
Sherlock reacted as any young baby would, trying to get out of the change. He was fussy, but Moriarty had him freshened up and in a clean nappy in no time. He went to wash his hands and walked back into the nursery, picking Sherlock up.
Irene poked her head into the nursery and smiled. "Can I see my baby boy?" She asked.
"Yes, of course." Moriarty smiled, walking over to her. Sherlock gurgled happily as Irene smiled at him, kissing his crown. The two walked down to the sitting room and sat on the couch. Moriarty passed Sherlock into Irene's arms.
"Such a sweet baby." Irene cooed, holding Sherlock close to her chest.
Sherlock began shutting his sleepy eyes, sucking his dummy as Irene gently rocked him.

Lestrade was dozing off on the sofa, arms crossed over his chest when his phone began buzzing. He rubbed his eyes and grabbed his phone, accepting the call.
"What is it, Anderson?" He asked, listening to the other end of the call. He stood up, quickly grabbing his keys and coat. "Alright, I'll be there shortly. I need to make arrangements really quick. See you in 10." Lestrade said, hanging up.
Naturally, he phoned John first to see if he could babysit. He was unavailable at the time, and would be held up for several hours. The same happened when he called Mrs Hudson, though she would have been thrilled to babysit.
Finally, lestrade realized there was only one other person who could look after Molly. He knew she wouldn't be happy, but there was no other option.
"Hello mycroft, can you come look after molly?"
Molly opened her eyes a few minutes later to see lestrade smiling at her. She reached out for him, and he picked her up.
"Okay, baby girl, daddy needs to go to work for a bit, so you're gonna have a babysitter." He said, carrying her downstairs.
When they arrived in the living room, lestrade gently passed Molly into someone's outstretched arms. She snuggled into them, comfortable. When she opened her eyes, however, she was greeted by mycroft, not John. She began to cry, upset.
"I don't think this is a good idea." Mycroft said, worried that he'd upset the girl.
"I need to go in, I can't take her with me. Please, I'm sure she'll calm down." Lestrade said.
Mycroft looked down at molly, cheeks pink and tear stained.
"Alright, just try to be back swiftly." Mycroft replied. Lestrade smiled and leaned over, kissing mollys forehead.
"Be good, baby. Daddy will see you soon." Lestrade said. He thanked mycroft again and left. Mycroft shifted Molly in his arms, propping her over his shoulder. He rubbed her back, unsure of what else to do.
"I'm... im sorry for sending Sherlock away." He said quietly, unable to believe what he said.
Molly's cries turned to whimpers, then sniffles. When mycroft shifted her again, cradling her, she calmly sucked on her dummy.
"There we are, not so bad, am I?" Mycroft cooed, pushing Molly's hair back gently. He grabbed a book and held her in one arm, beginning to read.
Molly leaned against his chest, listening to the soothing words he spoke. She closed her eyes and soon fell asleep again.
