To say life was a mess is an understatement. Let me catch you up, after being diagnosed quirkless and finding out that Izukun was too. We became even better friends, but then the bullying started, sure no one dared to mess with us while my brother was around because he would blow them to smithereens. But that does not mean it stopped entirely, originally, they only attacked Izukun, but after I tried to stop them one too many times, they decided to teach me a lesson as well. Which leads us to where we are today. Katsuki living at UA in the dorms, so I don't get to see him much which means the bullies don't hold back as much either. Mom and Dad have done what they could to get it to stop, but they get dismissed every time whether it be by the principal or the police.

Izukun and I still have not given up our dreams of becoming heroes. Until that fateful day when we heard the statement no one should ever have to hear.

"Ya know, if you really want to be heroes. I can tell you the fastest way if you want." Izukun looks up with hopeful eyes, while I am sceptic of what they are going to say.

You probably want to know who I am talking about don't you? I am talking about the meanest person in school, Usotsuki Yagi they think just because their dad was the number one hero they can get away with anything, but I guess they can. Any way back to the story.

"Really!?!" Izukun asks with so much hope radiating off of him I am almost starting to feel it my self, almost.

"Of course." they said with a sickeningly sweet smile "you can always drop yourself off a roof and SAVE the rest of us from having to ever see your useless selves ever again." They walked off laughing with their gang of lackeys cackling along.

All I wanted to do was punch that aweful person square in the jaw, but last time I did that I was the one in trouble, and right now my best friend needs me.

"Hey Izukun, don't listen to them. They are wrong to say that, you know what let's go hang out just you and me." I say as softly as I can. He sniffles and nods while wipping rears off his face. We soon text our parents letting them know we will be hanging out together for the rest of the day.

"Hey, Elizabeth, why don't you spend the night at my place with mom and me. I already asked her and she said it was fine."

"Sounds good! Let's stop by my house so I can grab some clothes to drop off at your place then we can head to that awesome cat cafe that you love." as soon as I mention the cat cafe he smiles his closed eye smile that could rival the sun and grabs my hand and says.

"Well come on then we don't want to keep the cats waiting!"

I am glad I was able to take his mind off of what just happened, but I think it will stick with us for years to come.
