"Oh shut up Jake!" I laughed as he shoved me, laughing also. Jake and I had been sent to live in the fairy kingdom, as many of Zyler's followers had been out to kill us. My own parents were being protected at home, while Jake's parents-well let's just saying we're still looking for them. We have been getting schooled in magic here, and Puck is a fantastic tutor.
Jake and I are treated practically as royalty. The Underway has since been weeded out, many of Zyler's supporters are dead or awaiting trial, such as Maurus. Damon still hasn't been found though. Life is just good now, hanging out with Jake and Adam. And by the way, I do think Adam has taken a fancy to Jake. They do make it quite obvious, when they flirt. I guess they don't want to make me feel like a third wheel, but honestly I don't mind. Besides, I can always go hang out with Puck. (That was sarcasm.)
There's still tons of unanswered questions, like about what really happened that night with Zyler and where Jake's parents are, but we're all just learning to deal with it as it'll all be resolved eventually. We can still smile, and have fun, but we will all live with what happened that day. For now, we're just trying to live.
