Evelyn Whitmore was born in Saint Denis in 1876, she was the youngest child of the family along with her two older brothers; Stefan Whitmore(Eldest child) and Jonathan Whitmore(Middle child). Her father wasn't around much during her childhood, even her brothers weren't around either. Evelyn would spend most of her time with her mother and they've became very close over the years.

At the age of ten, her mother began teaching the young girl her family secrets; Witchcraft. The woman spent time training her daughter in the ways of the wiccan, showing her the difference of herbs from the most poisonous plants for deadly tonics and slow, painful deaths to the best plants for wounds and sickness, all there is to know about nature and animals, and the knowledge of rituals and spiritual world. Evelyn was a fast learner and her mother made her promise to keep this a secret between them, horrible things could happen if anyone found out.

When Evelyn turned eighteen, she began to learn more from her mother about the family history, even brewing the most toxic mixtures and strong health tonics. Her father began to come home more often now, but his daughter noticed his features looking a bit more deranged and unrecognizable, she turned the thoughts away as her father came in with a young man, Vincent; the oldest son of another high class family telling her that the two were engaged to be married. Evelyn was quick to decline the proposal, saying she was not ready for marriage, but her father became very angry at her decision and struck his daughter hard across the face before screaming at her that it was no longer her choice then stormed off along with Vincent.

Evelyn was filled with so many emotions mostly confusion, rage, and sorrow. Her mother was there to comfort her and the young girl became distant with the rest of her family for now on. The engagement continued on like her father wanted, but Evelyn felt nothing for Vincent. There was no love or warmth in her heart for Vincent, only pure disgust and hate.

One late evening, Evelyn was awoken by the sounds of shouting and glass breaking, rushing downstairs in only a nightgown to see her mother tied down and being dragged out the house by two men. Evelyn tried to go after her but, she was stopped by her fiancé.

Vincent dragged the young woman through the bayou, close to Lagras where a large group of people were gathered around her father as they listened to him talk about salvation, a world free of sin. Most of them carrying weapons and torches, even had an upside down seven sigil carved in their foreheads and a crazed look in their eyes. Evelyn's eyes scanned the area till she sees her mother tied to a post and standing on a pile of wood.

The crowd screaming 'Burn her!' 'Burn the witch!' 'Send her back to hell!'. Vincent pulled Evelyn away as her father starts the fire on the pile that would be end of his beloved wife, the young girl turned around as she hears her mother's screams of agony as the flames engulfed her. Evelyn lets out a cry of sorrow as she was still being dragged away, struggling to get away and managed to shove her 'fiancé' away from her, but he went to grab her again only for Evelyn to quickly pull out a metal hairpin out of her hair that was keeping it up and stabbed it into his neck, she watched him fall to the ground and holding his neck to somehow stop the rapid flow of blood.

"She's escaping!" Evelyn hears someone yell from the riverside and ran the opposite direction, leaving Vincent to choke to death on his own blood. A crowd chased her through the bayou, but Evelyn was able to lose them through the forest near Annesburg.

The woman was stayed there for while, making sure they left, she was very scared and exhausted. She froze as she hears a twig behind her snap, only for her to turn around and face the barrel of a rifle, an older man holding the gun staring at her with a cold, hard gaze.
