That Woman

Chapter 4

I packed my bags after Chris stormed out. I dragged it outside, I brought out my phone and don't know what I was doing but I called my brother.

"Marlo" I said trying to stop crying "what happened Al!!" he aske me alarmed "ca- can yo-u pick me u-up" I asked him inbetween my tears. "I'm on my way just stay put" he said and I hung up.

My brother was in town for buisness for 2 weeks, we talked over the phone and even went to meet once.

I sat there on his porch with my head in my lap crying. "Al, Al!!" I heard Marlo scream. I dried my tears and stood up to hug him. "Mar I don't want to loose him" I said.

"But you might loose yourself Al" he said calmly while rubbing my back. We went into the car and I told him what happened including the fact that I was pregnant with triplets.

We got to the hotel he was staying in, he came down and carried me in his arms bridal style. "Marlo drop me!!" I shouted as he picked me up.

"MARLOOOO!!!" I screamed again until we reached the reception, he just patted my head "Al you have to rest, I don't want you having an asthma attack" he said slowly "and as your elder brother I can and will carry you" he said

I don't know when but I let darkness take over me in my brothers hands.

Alora's P.O.V
"Look Chris I am busy on Friday" I said very calmly. "What about tommorow" he asked hopefully "Tommorow is-" before I could reply Marlo came in.

"There you are" he said not noticing Chris "I thought you were dead" he said then looked around and spotted Chris. Chris just looked at him and I could see diffrent emotions in his eyes, I could see jealousy, hatred etc.

"Well I'm not" I said "ok then let's go to eat lunch" Marlo said and picked me up "put me down" I say in a demanding voice. As we exit the office Marlo puts me down.

"Mind telling me why he is here" Marlo asked me and I looked at him with a blanc look "I should be the one asking the questions here" I said teasingly.

"Don't worry Al I'll protect you" he said "you don't need to do that" I told him and he just looked at me and smiled "I'll visit you after work" he told me "You might as well pick up the triplets" I said smirking.

"Now let's go eat lunch" I said and grabbed his hand and started walking to the caffe.

Chris's P.O.V

I just sat in Alora's office stunned after that man she cheated on me with swept her away, no wonder she doesn't want me back. But I will make her like me more than him.

I looked at my watch it was just 12:32 and she wasn't back yet. I plan on staying here till she came back, when all of a sudden a man in a black suit burst in.

"Alora where the fuck are the new files!" He asked in an angry tone and I just looked at him. "Umm Alora isn't here" I said and he ran his hands threw his jet black hair.

"She was ment to be here 2 minutes ago" he muttered to himself and I just looked at him wondering who he was. "And may I ask who you are" he said irritated.

Alora might be his mistress I thought to myself "If you so much want to know I am Christopher Mayers" I said proudly he must know who I am.

"I guess being late almost everyday isn't enough might as well invite your whole family" I manage to catch from his muttering. "And may I know why and how you are here" he asked me coldly.

"Don't you know who I am" I asked him starting to loose my temper "Christo something like that" he said with no care in the world.

I just looked at him then he looked at his watch "I have better things to do than listen to incompetence" he said but before he could turn around Alora showed up ........... with the other man.

So do you think Chris and Henry would meet again, do you think Chris would keep showing up at her office, what would go down with Alora, Chris and Henry.
