Stacey tried to fight her phone off the rude boy, Winston. But the phone ended up smashing itself on the cold tiled floor.
Oops!
Didn't see that coming.
ಠ益ಠ
Someone nearby can easily witness the steams coming out of Stacey ears and nostrils.
Her phone. The only phone she had.
The worst part is that she's currently broke. No money to get a brand new one, and now someone who has this aggression of taking someone else's phone number without permission, ended up breaking her phone.
The only thing that came into her head right now was how to reach her parents.
The damage was way too beyond repair.
Only option right now, is to get a brand new one.
Stacey watched the suspect, Winston, slowly go down on one knee like he was gonna purpose to her.
He picked up the phone.
Sorry dude, no phone number for you anymore.
After checking both back and front of the damaged phone- Damn this is too worse. Are you talking about the screen which looks like what a lorry stomped on? Damaged will be a pity but condemned will be better for something that's beyond repair.
Stacey has no idea whether to cry or crush his head in one hit.
She held back her tears which were already gathered in her eyes.
She doesn't want him to know about her weaken point. She clenched her fists tightly, still weeping bitterly inside of her.
Winston took the broken phone and stood up, only to get a strong wind of someone passing him by.
Stacey didn't wait one second. Without waiting for her bestie, Britney, she grabbed her mathematical set and walked out of the apartment.
"Hey wait-" Winston wanted to stop her but she wasn't in the state to be stopped.
The image of him stopping her and she pouncing on him with heavy smack downs made him gulped down.
"Fuck!" He cursed and looked down at the broken phone in his palms.
His brows furrowed slightly. She was using an ITEL A16 brand. Too local for his class and liking.
"So sorry for the delay, I had to-" Britney swallowed the rest of her words when her bestie was no were to be seen.
Her gaze went straight to her brother Winston. "What did you tell her, Grinch!" Her teeth gritted.
Winston's brows lifted, "At least can you give me the respect of a senior brother to a junior sister? I'm worth it, and I need it."
Britney's lips parted, she was about to say something, but he cut her off with one finger poked out. Indicating I'm not done yet.
"Secondly, stop it with the weird name called Grinch." He pointed at himself. "I'm not a spoilsport, Gerrit?"
Britney hissed on his words. She impatiently dipped her hand into her back pocket to bring out her phone.
She dialed Stacey's number. Switch off.
"Why?" She dialed again, again, again, again, again and again, same comment all the way. "Grr!" Her fingers tightened around her phone, almost crushing it up.
