"Has he answered you?" Vikki sprawls herself in my bed and I shake my head no.
"I'm sure he's fine." Lilybeth sighs next to me.
"I hope he is."
Mauricio's mom texted me a while back asking if Mauricio was with me. She heard him leave on the motorcycle a few hours ago and hasn't been texting him back. When I told her that he wasn't with me, she got even more worried.
She told me about how Mauricio's dad went to rehab today.
I was surprised Mauricio hadn't called me to talk about it. He usually talks to me about his dad.
I tried texting and calling him a couple of times too. No answer. And when I checked his location, it was off.
It's never off.
So, now I am here freaking out wondering where the hell is he.
"It's late and I'm sure he'll be home by now. Let's get some rest and hopefully, he'll answer by the morning." Vikki gets up from the bed and helps Lilybeth up too.
"Goodnight, sisters," I tell them before they leave my room.
I call him one more time hoping this is the one he answers.
But, of course, as the ones before, it goes to voicemail.
I seriously do hope he's okay.
I put my phone away before turning off my desk light and going to bed.
