𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐄 sat slumped against the gymnasium wall, making sure her phone was propositioned well so it could charge sucessfully. The girls curls had risen up and her chin sat under her hoodie, only her mouth and up visible to the crowd.

It had been last period and it was times like these where the girl was thankful that gym was last on her schedule, she could relax and didn't have to worry about any work being done, it was all great except for one exception.

Her unbearable and irritating ex, Notti to be specific.

Him and the girl never conversated but his presence was mere enough to make the girl infuriated. The boys friends consisted of alot of females, so for her to sit there and hear the playful screams and see the close proximity the two would be in had made her jaw clench, a curled hot feeling always settling into her gut.

She didn't care, well that's atleast what she would tell herself but how she felt and reacted says otherwise. The boy had been oblivous to the girl's hostile stare whenever he would engage in anything that had to do with the opposite gender.

But that was benefical for her, he didn't need to know that she cared or else he would get that big sense of pride and an ego boost, that was the last thing Sionge needed.

It hadn't always been like this though.

Notti and Sionge had always spent all their time with eachother, they had felt calm and centered and had a stronger sense of security.  It wasn't something that was expendable and could be easily replaced. They did everything together, they grew together, they fought together. Overall, the two were unseperable.

Key word, WERE.

It was around this time last year when the two had called it quits, prior to that the two had been having non-stop arguements after Sionge had tried to communicate with the young boy how she felt uncomfortable on the boys filtarious manner, but Notti was stubborn and insisted that he wasn't doing anything of that matter, eventually with the lack of reassurance and inconsideration of how Sionge felt, she finally built up the courage to end things.

It had hit Sionge at the start but it the realization didn't set to Notti till later, feeling incomplete without the Dominican girl in his life, she had became of the boy's regular schedule and he no longer knew how to function without her.

He had planned this grand scheme to get the girl back, he had even went to his older sister Melz for help, he had been in the process of trying to get the girl's favorite flowers, her favorite snacks, and an apology that was going to be recited to the girl.

That was till of course he heard something, something that had made him fume, and something that had made him somber.

Sionge had been talking with a boy.

And not talking in a friendly way, and not a random boy either.

Particularly his friend from the block, Chino.

Chino was in a talking stage with Sionge.

Like what was said, it was something he had heard, it wasn't necessarily true, it was strictly friendly banter but Notti didn't know that.
