bruce, vance and the other kids are 6  to 7 and 8 btw 

bruce yamada is a nice kid had a lot of friends and he loves sports but baseball was his favorite he even begged his mom just to get him a baseball bat. bruce yamada was really smart for a 7 year old and nothing ever really got in his way 

third person pov 

bruce, was walking with his sister mia, who is 6 years younger than him he grabs mia, by her hand and he turned around to see his mom, behind him he smiled and turned back. when they reached the park bruce had started climbing all the way to the top of the slide and bumped something on the head he looked up and saw a brown curley haired looking kid at the top of the slide bruce quickly said "sorry did i hurt you.." the kid looked at him while  holding his hand on his mouth bruce exclaims again "im really really sorry here let me help" as he grabs his hand of his mouth and wipes it off another kid with straight dark brown hair and a weird looking bandana comes running up to them and says "hey why did you hit him" bruce, steps back falling down the slide banging his head against the walls of the slide, bruce starts to cry as he puts his hands on his head to try to stop the pain as bruce cry's louder and louder bruce's mom, rushes over there rubbing her hands on his head saying "aw my baby its ok" she looks at him as he looks up and smiles she says "go play and dont get hurt again for your own sake" bruce nods and runs off dragging his feet against the wood chips he climbs up the ladder to the slide seeing the same kids before he reallys wants to be friends with them so he walks over to them almost hitting his head on the red bar on the slide as he stops and says "HII im bruce what's your name wanna be friends we can play together and you can ev-" the kid in the bandana says "why are you talking so much" bruce's face expression turns sad the curley haired kid says "hi bruce my name is..finney but you can call me finn." the bandana kid looks at finney and finney nods he turns back to bruce whos now smiling and says "my....my name his robin." bruce smiles at robin and grabs there hand as he says "lets go play on the other slide since this one is really small" finney nods. after a few hours of playing bruces mom calls him saying "bruce its time to go home" bruce, gets sad and says "well by robin and finn ill see you tommorrow?" they nod as they watch bruce ,walk away. bruce picks up mia putting her on his thigh while his arm is wrapped around her back he looks at his mom and says "hi mom why did we have to leave i really really wanted to stay with my friends they were really nice can we meet them agai- bruce's mom interups him and says "yes bruce honey we had to leave because one of my friends is coming over and ill try to set of a play date with your new friends ok right now when we get home you can play with ms zamika's son and daughter" bruce smiles and nods. when they get home bruce jump up and down waiting for the door bell to ring mia looks over at bruce and giggle pointing her barbie doll at him as soon as he was about to say something the doorbell rings he opens it quickly to see... bruce's dad he looks up and frowns as his dad walks in the house he almost shuts the door but a hand keeps it open he looks out the door seeing a tall blonde lady with a big smile, he looks down to see a kid with curley blonde hair a a green choker on and looks his age staring at him with a blank expression and a 3 year old looking girl behind him. bruce opens the door all the way letting them in the boy looks at him and walks away bruce chases him and taps him on the shoulder as he says "HIII my name is bruce whats your name wanna be friends i want to show you around" the boy looks at bruce and says "what do you want" bruce says while puffing out his cheeks making a funny impression " oh what i meant was what is your tikkle tick name good sirr" the blonde curley haired kid chuckles and the laughs bruce smiles the kid says " ha your really funny my name is vance im 8 years old and my sisters name is lilian she is 3" bruce smiles and says "i'm bruce im 8 years old too my sister mia is 2 and i have a cat named miss lola too she's a very pretty kitty wanna see her" vance nods and follows bruce upstairs running into the farthest room.
