Destiny's eyes widened as he ducked and avoided a nearby attack, this couldn't be good. The Gods, under attack? He had to laugh. After hearing the cheer of Nyx he shook his head to himself fondly, hiding his smirk as he kicked open Resolve's office, running in and sealing it shut with a protection spell.
"Oh man- we gotta go and quick." Destiny spoke quickly, looking at his sister with a worried look. He knew how many people would love to get their hands on his sister and he didn't want that for her.
"Hm? I shall be fine. Such rebels will tire themselves out." Resolve responded calmly, not looking up from her work as she did so.

"No uh- you don't realise the severity do you?- There are- its- the power-, it's not just some rebels. The likes of (REDACTED) are out there, Resolve! We have to go, they struck me! And it actually hurt! That's not just some rebels they have power, Resolve!!" Destiny urged, grabbing Resolve gently- only to flinch when she slapped his hand away.
"Rebels will tire themselves out." She repeated, now with a more snappy tone as she wrote faster, clearly annoyed at her brother.
"They're attacking Wisdom." Destiny spoke quietly, his voice shook. He didn't like this. He was scared, why wouldn't she listen to him?
"What?" Resolve paused, looking up to her brother, her face turning to anger as she scowled.
"Let us prove why rebels fall, hm?" She responded, standing up, her chair scraping against the ground.

Destiny winced at the noise, yet the words barely sunk in. She didn't care. She only cared because of Wisdom. She didn't care about him, or herself, or how Watcher impulsively joined in on the chaos. She only cared about him. The man who would've made her kill him if Omni didn't stop him. The man who emotionally tormented him everyday. She didn't care, no, no she didn't care. Not about him. And maybe he was foolish to care about her how he did.
"Destiny? You said so yourself, we must tame these imbeciles." Resolve spoke quickly, snapping her fingers in front of Destiny's face.

A scream. Ares.

"No! No no we need to go Resolve! Fuck Wisdom, fuck this! We need to go!" Destiny yelled, grabbing Resolve's arm only to yell in pain when she threw him back, against the chest of drawers.
"O-ow!- The- the fuck?" Destiny responded, standing up and stabilising himself as he stared at his sister.
"No. No you're not.. c- come on. Come on Fate. You.. you gotta... come.. Come with me! I'm your brother!- Please!" Destiny begged, he felt so weak. So afraid. Why wasn't she listening to him? Did Wisdom have such an impact on her? Was she that afraid of him? No- no no this wasn't fair!

"You are no brother of mine, traitorous fool." Resolve responded, her eyes narrowing as she pulled a sword made from the holiest of light from her wings.
"W- wait- hold- hold on! I'm- I'm not fighting you. You know that! Are you being serious? Oh my god- oh my god this is happening?!" Destiny yelled, mostly to himself as he stepped away from her. He would never hurt her, no.. he would never. He couldn't. He wouldn't.
"Please! Please damn it! You're going to die if you go out there Resolve! There will be no approval from Wisdom because you'll be dead!" He yelled, screaming and avoiding the sword as she swung at him.
"I will be reborn. Unlike yourself. You understand how much I have lost because I stayed by your side? I should have listened to him. A weak, emotional, useless piece of—"

"RESOLVE PLEASE! SHUT UP AND LISTEN TO ME!"
Destiny grabbed his sister by the coat, his entire body heaved and he couldn't get his breath back. Sweat poured from his head, the wound he already had burned as he shook his sister back and forth.
"You! Will! Die! It will be in vain. Rebirth aside. They hate us! And rightfully so mind you! Why should we flaunt power that we don't deserve to have?! Why does HE get to hurt us all and you're too scared to admit that! B- but that's okay! Because I'm scared t- too! You know?!- b- but if we go out there, we can join them! W- we can! And- and and it'll be okay! I- I won't be mad at you and- and and we can be free from him and his grasp!- s- so please... Me.. or him..?" Destiny spoke carefully, his voice shook and wavered as he let go of his sister.

"..." Resolve stared at him, her eyes unmoving as her gaze burned into him. No. This was stupid. He was a traitor, a rebellious traitor. She had to do what was best. For the greater good. The end justifies the means.
"I will never choose one that wishes to run away. Like a coward." Resolve finally responded firmly.
Destiny stared at her with a look of hurt, he was sure his heart broke then and there. She.. really didn't care?.. well. He wouldn't allow her to hurt anyone else.
"...Very well." Destiny responded with a sigh, he felt like crying. But that was for later. Now? He had to break the one thing he promised he'd never do.

The pair started circling each other, taking in their opponent but similarly stalling. Neither one truly wished for this battle between fate and destiny, yet, as ironic as it was. It was bound to happen one day.

"You understand you will be tossed to the side and killed by Omni for such mutinous acts, harbouring rebels and joining with them?" Resolve spoke as she circled her brother, her.. younger brother. Yes, yes, only by a few days. But she was older.
"I know. I don't care." Destiny responded quickly, he wasn't in the mood for small talk or monologues, he wanted this to be quick so he could accept his, hah, fate.
"You guys were no better to me. It was always how I was "too emotional" or "too human" or how I was stupid, or how you all just.. laughed at me and didn't take me seriously. Maybe they'll actually like me." Destiny added on, his voice wavered slightly at the end but he didn't dare speak more. He couldn't look at Resolve, not in the eyes. He... was scared. And it felt... surreal, to feel such a strong feeling. He'd like to feel it again sometime, hopefully under better circumstances though.

"I hope they damn you to the deepest pits."
Resolve didn't speak further as she lunged at her brother, the light from the sword would be blinding to the human eye. Yet it was like nothing to the pair. Destiny screamed as it grazed his arm, it burned terribly. Perhaps he was tainted, light never hurt this bad. But he didn't care, no, no he had to act and act quickly. He grabbed the sword by the blade, making a whimper as it dug into his hands. He pushed forward, finally grabbing the sword from his sister's grip and making her fall backwards. He didn't want to look at her, he didn't want to hear her, he didn't want to—
The sword pierced through her chest, killing her immediately. He immediately dropped it and stumbled back, falling against the drawers.

His chest raised and fell with an inhumane speed, tears flooding his face almost immediately. He pulled his knees close to his chest. He had done it. He had done it. The thing he had sworn he would never do. He felt so filthy as he held himself, the screams and yells from outside the room washed over him..

A few minutes passed and he pushed open the door, sword in his trembling hand as he stepped out into the newfound battlefield.
"Where the fuck is Wisdom?"
