11. Facing the wrath

Ritika got up in the morning. Her head was against something. She looked up and saw Rohit's face, him holding her close to him.

It felt so warm and caring to her, those small gestures from him.

As he was holding her, it was difficult for her to get up and move.

Ritika said softly, "Rohit, get up please, it's morning", he didnt wake up to that.

Ritika moved a little more closer, whispered in his ear, "Ro, wake up!"

That did the trick, Rohit opened his eyes to see the most angelic face to brighten up his morning.

"I must say its indeed a Good Morning!", He smiled and pulled her closer kissing her forehead. She smiled at that gesture.

Ritika said seeing the time, "I think its enough flirting in the morning, get up now. I am also going in my room"

Rohit pouted at that, they got up. Ritika quickly pecked his cheeks and ran off leaving a blushing Rohit behind.

Rohit noticed a comforter, as far as he remembered they didn't take comforter last night. Did Vi come in the room? oh god, if he came and saw us like that means he definitely KNOWS.

Rohit freshened up and went towards the dining room. He saw Virat sitting with Mahi bhai.

"oh god, what will I say to him? if he knows, means he would be super upset with me. Does he really know?", he thought.

Rohit sat infront of them nervously thinking what is going to happen.

"Good Morning bhai, Vi", he said to gain their attention.

"Good Morning, Rohit", Mahi answered and Virat just focused on his breakfast.

Rohit was waiting for Virat to respond but Virat was focused on eating his breakfast.

"Vi?", Rohit called softly but Virat just got up and left the table.

Rohit sighed at that as it is gonna be tough task now. Rohit followed him immediately.

"Vi meri baat sun yaar, ek min let me explain atleast", Rohit screamed after him.

"What are you going to explain? You know I know! You hid from me Ro! Why? I always tell you everything, every single thing and you hid this from me! And I know it's serious because it's you! And Ritika.."

"Ritika what?"

They heard Yuvi pa behind them. Virat noticed Rohit being scared and not knowing what to say.

"Ritika.. Called us for a meeting regarding schedules. But Rohit as always making us late", Virat said gritting his teeth.

"Let's go", Virat said as Yuvi pa got convinced.

They reached to the meeting place. Ritika was yet to arrive.

"Don't think that I saved you from Yuvi pa that means I forgive you.. I am still mad at you", Virat said angrily.

"Vi please ek baar..", Rohit began but Ritika came there.

Ritika sat beside Rohit giving a soft smile to him to which Rohit returned. Virat observed that.

"you know if you both want to hide this so much, atleast act LIKE it", he said mocking them as they suck at hiding their affection and liking for each other.

Ritika was shocked to hear that and she looked at Rohit who nodded at her that he knows.

"Vi", Rohit called to which Virat glared at him.

"Rohit don't.. I dont want to hear any explanations, I am here for a meeting-- so Ritika let's start", he said angrily.

They both felt upset and bad about hearing full names from him and him being angry. Rohit knew if Virat gets angry on something it is very difficult to make him understand so he gestured Ritika to begin the meeting.

But Ritika was thinking that Virat doesn't approve their relationship that's why he is behaving like this. And that thought was scary for her because it was the first time she had let someone close to her and she could not loose that.

A lone tear rolled down her cheeks thinking that. She wiped it but Virat and Rohit both noticed it.

"What's wrong?", Rohit immediately asked in concern and worry.

Ritika shook her head, "it's nothing, umm-- let's get back to work"

Virat himself felt bad as he considered her as his 'punjabi bro', now seeing her cry made him feel bad.

"Rits, tell me what happened, you promised me that you will try to open up with me", Rohit asked again ignoring the work remark.

"Vi-- I mean Virat, you dont approve?", she asked with tears.

"Approve-- what do you mean?", Virat asked confused about what she was asking.

"Rits hey, stop crying first. I can't see you in tears you know that", Rohit said softly wiping her tears.

Ritika calmed a bit and Rohit made her drink water.

Virat was so happy to see them like that. Rohit, the perfect guy any girl could get, he was caring and soft-spoken-- Virat always wanted him to be happy and being with Ritika-- he was genuinely happy and in so love.

"Virat, do you not approve our friendship? I know it's more than that but we are taking time but do you not like me with Rohit, that's why you are angry?", Ritika asked with moist eyes.

That surprised Rohit and Virat both, they never knew this was thing that was bothering her. Rohit looked at Virat for answer.
