Yuu was walking with their mentor , Leon Stonemoor. To be honest, Leon was the only light of their life. Their parents died when Yuu was 6 from a robbery, so Yuu was supposed to live with their aunt and uncle.
But, it was not happy there.
"Only an A?! Disgraceful.."
"Jimmy could do better than you! He always gets A+!!"
"Bad grades, Bad sleeping area."
"So what if you get a higher grade than Jimmy?! That gives you no right to rub it in?!"
"Jimmy"
"Jimmy"
"Jimmy"
By the 4 years Yuu lived with their relatives, they had been abused and neglected because of one person: Jimison Edwards.
Yuu's aunt and uncle, Richter and Julietta Edwards treasured their one and only son. To be honest, Jimison (Or Jimmy as his nickname) Was very spoiled.
"36 presents?! I said I wanted 37!!"
"HA HA, poor little Yuu doesn't have any mummy or daddy to run off to!"
"WHAT?! YOU GOT A++?! MUMMY, DADDY, YUU'S TEASING ME!!"
Jimison always teased Yuu, and it didn't help that he was praised for his "natural talents". Luckily, before things could get any worse Yuu snuck out of their bedroom.
They snuck out at exactly 9:00 pm, and as they were walking across the street, They bumped into a man, who just so happened to be part of a gang.
Yuu then bumped into the man. "Hey kid, are you okay?" The man looked over and analyzed Yuu. It seemed they've run away.
"Runaway huh? Guess we could use some new recruits. Hey kid, want a home?" He reached his hand to Yuu. As Yuu accepted it, the man introduced himself.
"My name is Leon, but you can call me Leo."
After Yuu accepted Leo's hand, they were whisked off to a whole new world, one with criminals, gangs, mafias. Leo just so happened to be part of the Dobutsu gang, a gang which specialized with assasinations.
The Dobutsu gang was filled with contract killers and assasins, so of course, Yuu being in the gang, was supposed to be one too.
Yuu to be honest actually loved killing. they craved it. Soon enough they would always kill with a smile on their face. They were truly a killer.
But inside, they were emotionless. People always looked at them when they saw Yuu's face so Yuu made a decision that would last for a long time.
"I don't want to stand out. To blend in, you must be happy. So, I will be happy."
And Yuu could be always seen with a genuine looking, but fake smile.
