(Flashback)

Mother,Father,Isabell and I were in the living room chatting when suddenly I sensed someone nearing the house.

"What is it,Rachel?" Mrs.Schulz asked her son.

"I...sense someone outside the house." I replied running to open the door.

"Rachel,wait!!" Your parents yelled out.

It was too late.You already opened the door and ran out.

I looked out into the snow and gasped.

"Y-You're the man from before!!" I shouted.

"Lord Alexander.What does an aristocrat vampire want with us?" Mr.Schulz said.

Alexander didn't reply.Instead he gave the Schulz family an emotionless expression.

Before I could react,my family screamed.

My parents and little sister were killed before my eyes.

Their blood splattered onto the ground...dead.

Alexander stood before you,unfaltered by the horrific actions he did.

I clenched my fists in grief.

I ran and ran without a single sense of looking back.

The only thing that rang through my mind was to keep running.

"Run all you want.In the end,I will find you Rachel and make you mine." The man's voice echoed in the distance before fading.

The doors of the mansion slammed shut as I leant against the wall.

Tears filled my eyes,as I choked back a sob.

Allowing the darkness of the mansion to engulf my body,I fell into a sleepless slumber.

"Alexander.....why..."

(End of flashback)

I gripped my bracelet with a sigh before walking out the mansion.

It was a chilly afternoon.The leaves had begun to turn into an orange-red color signalling the start of Autumn.

You always enjoyed Autumn as the weather was at it's perfect peak.Humming in content,you made your way torwards the clearing in the forest.

There,was a sight you never expected to see.

A teenage boy at about your age,lied on the green grass asleep.

Approaching him,you were mesmerized.He looked handsome while he peacefully slept.

As if on cue,he woke up.The sight of you,shocked him.

"H-Hey." He said sitting up.

"Hello." I said quietly.

"What are you doing here?" I asked. "I could ask you the same thing." He replied.

"I live in a mansion not far from here." I told him.

"Ah,I see.I come here sometimes just to get away from society.It gets complicated at times." He said.

I simply nodded.

"I'm Jesse Martin.What's yours?" Jesse asked.

"Rachel..Rachel Schulz." I answered.

"Schulz? You're German?" Jesse asked.

"Half.My mother is British." I replied.

"I see.I'm from London and moved here 2 years ago." Jesse explained,standing up.

Jesse was tall,at least 5'9" which was a mere 6 centimeters taller than you being only 5'3".He had dark brown hair,fair skin and mesmerizing brown eyes.How could a human be this so handsome? You wondered.

The two of you began walking through the forest.

"So why do you and your family live away from society?" Jesse suddenly asked.

"I come from a family that would rather live in nature than being surrounded by the modernization of our society." I simply answered.

"I see..." Jesse trailed off before something caught his eye.

"Woah this mansion looks awesome! I can't believe you live here!" He grinned.

A faint smile appeared on my lips.

"Let me guess....your room is the one with the balcony,correct?" Jesse said.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Wow.I wish I could live here." Jesse gawked.

Suddenly,Jesse looked at his phone.
"Oh! I gotta leave.My parents are worried about me."

"Can you show me the way out of the forest?"

"Sure."

~~~
Reaching the forest gate,Jesse bid you goodbye before driving away.
Turning back torwards the mansion,I frowned.
"It's lonely again."
