After the case was solved, Hassena was walking through the road to her house as Karishma had gone for an important work and there was no vehicle. She was lost in her thoughts and the conversation she had with Anubhav.

She was lost in her thoughts when she heard horn of a car. She was startled and looked back only to find Anubhav. He was sitting in the car looking at her. A smile crept on her face but soon her smile faded as Sagai day appeared in her flashbacks.
He opened the seat belt and came out from the car. Hassena fiddled with her fingers as she had nothing to talk about. Anubhav was too loss at words. Sensing the awkward silence between them, he decided to speak.
“Hum jaante hai Hassena ji ki aapke maan par kya beet rahi hai. Aapne hi logon se jhoot bolna, aapko accha nahi lag raha hai lekin yakin maniye yeh sab hum jald se jald khatam karne ki koshish karenge”, He assured.
“Hum jaante hai sir, aap kitne acche officer hai, kitne bade deshbhakt hai, par kya aap voh dard samajh payenge ki aapne hi logon ko dhokha dekar kaisa lagta hai?? Nahi sir nahi samajh payenge. Hum chalte hai”, she said plainly and decided to leave when he called out her name.
The fact was that, she said he would never understand how it feels when you betray our own people for country, hurted him. He himself left her for her safety and the country. She still was unaware about the fact.
“Yeh mission khatam hone ke baad hum aap sabhi ki zindagi se hamesha ke liye chale jayenge Hassena j...”, he didn't completed but paused for some time. She just looked at him in confusion and hurt. “Hum hamesha ke liye chale jayenge Miss. Mallik. Hum jaante hai hum bohot dukh diya hai aap sabhi ko. Aab aur nahi dena chahte. Baas jaane se pehle, aaj aapse ek baat karni hai aapse”, He requested.
Hassena's pov
The fact that his aura was changed. His smile which never left his face when he first time met her, never came on his face. Yes, he left me on our engagement but still I love him and can't see him in such a state. But, their was one more thing that made me sad, he never addresses me as ‘Hassena ji’ anymore. He addresses me formally as ‘Miss Mallik’. Have he forget that, I will never be able to forget him. I honestly did not mind him calling me ‘Hassena ji’.

"Usse pehle hum aapse kuch puchna chahte hai.", she said breaking his sentence in between.
He looked at her taking deep breaths trying to comprehend what was going on in her mind. He was expert in reading faces but she always was unpredictable for him. She walked towards him holding onto his collar.
"Agar aap hume chod kar jaana hi chahte the toh kyu hume airport par sabke saamne propose kiya aapne? Kyu chod kar chale gaye Sagai? Iss sawal ka jawab hai kya aapke paas?", she whispered.
