Helcurt and Vexana, god and goddess of war are known for their merciless attitude. They have 2 daughters, Ara and Nana. Ara is 5 years older than Nana.
Ara is popular for her polite and kind attitude despite being the daughter of war gods. Nana on the other hand is popular for helping anyone who is in need, helping makes her happy.
Helcurt and Vexana trained Ara to extreme.
3 year old Ara was forced to wake up 3am in the morning to train for being a skilled goddess outside their kingdom, sometimes, alone. Ara was 5 years old when she fought hungry and strong wolves, which made her know how to use her enchantments, but it drained her tiny body which made her asleep for 6 months.
As an outcome for not obeying her parents, she's often being held captive in the basement for days, weeks, or even months, no foods, no light, just her and her tiny and tired body.
While Ara was asleep for 6 months, she had a sister, which was named Nana.
Ara became very anxious for her sister, she thought that she might also be forced for trainings in such a young age. She was 8 years old when she asked her mother to not force Nana like they did to Ara.
Unfortunately, Vexana has no open ears for Ara, she instead mistook it to 'Ara not respecting her decisions' she thought that Ara thinks she's the superior for asking her what to do, because of this, Vexana asked Helcurt to throw Ara in the prison of extremely awful gods and goddesses.
Helcurt didn't agree to Vexana's request, he instead threw Ara to an abandoned palace in the middle of nowhere in the woods, no one lives there, only hungry and dangerous animals roams around the forest.
One day, when Ara was 13 years old, she tried to escape to the abandoned palace, she succeeded. She then visited her kingdom only to find out that the kingdom was being invaded by her parents opponents in a war, all of the citizens of the kingdom were all over the place, all are killed.
She felt huge anxiousness inside her chest,
'WHERE'S NANA?'
her immediate thought. She then find her sister, which is in her room, crying, Nana didn't recognize Ara but Ara carried Nana on her back, then they suddenly heard a voice.
'Where are you taking my daughter?'
Vexana said. Ara was full of anger and madness, she didn't even realized her fists are bleeding with her tight grip on the sword. She placed Nana on the chair then faced Vexana.
Vexana didn't even had a doubt to attempt on stabbing Ara on her chest, but Ara was able to dodge it. They continued to fight each other till Ara's arms were bleeding, and Vexana's back were bleeding too.
The fight ended with Nana's crying because of Vexana's flowing blood to the floor, she was stabbed on the back of her chest, by Helcurt.
Ara cannot comprehend such situation but all she know is she have to save her sister. She carried her sister on her back, she ran and ran as fast as she can, only to trip on many dead bodies all over the place, her shaking arms due to fight with her mother made it painful for her to carry her sister, but she endured the pain.
When she was able to exit from their kingdom, she saw how bloody the castle now is, it's not like how it used to be.
While walking back to the abandoned castle, she felt something warm in her lower right abdomen, she look at it and saw black blood dripping down, she held Nana tightly in her arms so she wouln't fall down when Ara loses her control.
She tried to make her body fall down slowly so she can still protect her sister, she stare at the sillhouette behind her, only to see her mother, grinning and having an evil smile. A knife on her right hand, dripping with black blood. Vexana took Nana on Ara's dying body, Nana is crying in agony as if she knew what was happening.
10 years have passed, Nana is now 18 years old. She didn't told her mother that she can remember what happened 10 years ago.
Nana loves her sister so much, she is aware of how Ara protected her back then, she loved her sister even more after she died. In the past 10 years, Nana became a very powerful goddess of Charm. She even surpassed her mother, which is becoming weak everyday, turns out Ara's stab wounds on Vexana's back had poison that makes Vexana lose her powers and strength at time pass by.
That day, Vexana imitated her husband and made her husband into her physical appearance. Vexana stabbed her husband infront of her daughter, Nana.
Helcurt is only Ara's parent. Ara is Helcurt's daughter with a mortal, Vexana was fooled by Helcurt saying Ara is a gifted child from Goddess Athena, but it's all just Helcurt's lies to protect his daughter. Because of this, when Vexana knew the reality, she made Ara's life miserable. And her goal js to eventually kill her.
One time when Nana had the chance to see her mother, she applied a spell to her which made Vexana couldn't move, she then stabbed her mother in the chest in straight the face, no emotions showed. All she want is to take revenge for her sister.
She loved her sister so much that she'd do anything to be with her. Everytime Nana is happy or celebrating something, she visits her sister in the underworld. Hades and Persephone allowed her to do so, but only for 5 times. After visiting Ara 5 times, she cannot visit her anymore.
They both enjoyed each others company even if their time is limited. 5th visit came and Nana and Ara had to bid goodbye to each other. They learned so much lesson from each other, and they buried it in their hearts and minds. Ara hugged Nana so tight till Nana fades and slowly came back to the Earth. She cried of agony,
'Thank you, Ara, I love you till death.'
