Malevolence of the gods
Chapter 1- The seal of the damned
The world Tree was the connection of good and evil made with the nine realms made with a path of the most solid of material, as it looks like wood it is harder than the strongest of steel.
All the people praised too the tree that made the gods too keep the world in check, but one day there were a group of 10, made from remnants of the great tree, they were made for blood, their creator has never been known or heard of but their goal was set even before their lives were made.
One day they struck the tree, it was with such force even for a small dagger the leader held, it struck harder than lightning smited by the gods.
The entire world shook upon the occurrence of the attack, the worlds attached by the tree started to break apart, the people terrified about what has happened ran too the tree for its godly worship but it started losing its color, it seemed dead at the point, but then with the last of its life, it created a new god,
The god is was considered the savior of life right at the beginning, a strike of pure light as it struck the ground in flashy blue it brought safety to the people moving them and spreading them upon the 9 realms, then suddenly the newly enveloped jesus takes a stance and opens his arms, softly speaking: I forgive you, which creates a second beam of light hitting the commandments slowly making them remnant their own lifes, but then they vanished, without a word spoken of them for many years, but upon one day over a thousand years further in history they refuse too combatant the gods once again.
But life after the tragedy may look good, but it is still told in stories on how the commandments destroyed the world tree and tore the 9 realms apart in a mist of overwhelming power.
As he drinks the blood of Jesus, the rain slices downwards like a great chariot race which henceforth hits his skin like a fathomless amount of spears.
From once the towers were raised high, they have now fallen, power and gluttony was the city's own downfall.
Not even a moment after the tragedy hit, the anguish of the newly fallen city was heard.
The skies echoed like a building of worship praying to their god for forgiveness, they know what is soon to come.
He looks in the mirror, gazing upon himself, knowing what he has done but his own eyes given to him by the hand of god betrays him: it shows his true self, but in reality it was just a fragment of what he really was.
As he once stood tall, he has now fallen to a moment of dismay and rage; because of this, his fate was sealed. The mirror made of glass shattered, at sudden, like his mind, it was in a fit of many.
There is a group of 10, their names are known throughout the world as the 10 commandments, even the most brave tarnish to their name.
They have committed the greatest act of sacrilege, killing god, or more known as god's only son, this act was named, “the great sacrilege”, by the people, the one they forced to commit the act is a man, a man named henry.
Who is there to turn to when you were betrayed? It's the ones who know the truth, the ones who betrayed you.
As he wonders where one finds the commandments, the ones who put this pain towards him in the first place. Could they be up the highest of mountains? Or the lowest of valleys? No, they are already listening to every sound he makes is an already known fact to them even before he makes it.
As all the people gather around Jesus's newly anemic body, then at sudden they all cower in self distraught as the once lifeless Jesus rises again.
Nobody speaks, they know- this is of new.
As the day turns to night Henry runs to the woods outside of the once livable kingdom that he was vanquished from whilst the guards are chasing him he hears a whisper, a familiar voice in his head telling him to give up, but he does not listen.
He knows he has to stay sane to be able to clear his name.
Eventually he got away from the guards but nothing got easier, he was becoming more and more somnolent as the night went by he had to use all of his willpower to stay awake, then he stumbled upon a cavern fortified into the ground with crumbling walls. This is where he will rest.
As the time strikes 7 whilst asleep, he hears whispers again, the same familiar voice from before. He cannot make out any words but 1 repeating word, die, die, die.
Then he wakes up jumping from the ground covered in sweat and face full of fear, he hears the fire he has made crackling out its last embers, it reminds him of his life before this pain was brought upon him. Whilst he continues his journey to the commandments, he knows where they are even without any previous knowledge of them. He can feel where they are, he knows where they are.
As the gods plan what is next, they fall upon the lands of Tanishia, “one of the 9 kingdoms of the realm of birthia”.
They slaughter all of the people in rage upon what has happened. The gods need to regain their strength.
While walking down a path Henry found past a river he feels an extremely sharp pain like no other, he collapses to the ground gasping for air, he was ensnared in a dark magic trap.
He faintly hurled out his final breath filled with sorrow, and dies.
4 days later,
He wakes up in a frozen land of sorts surrounded by the dead,
As his entire body quakes in a feeling of none, his heart is silent more silent than the night filled with somber,
The world is surrounded with fire toned in the moon filled with blue.
He has only heard about this place in stories, he knew this place was called The land of the damned, the place where all of the sinned go to rot in eternal icy blaze.
His face is held in place by his own doubt, as he staggers himself slowly around the slashed and destroyed towers where only the gods are too know what has happened here.
As he shelters himself across the frozen land his breath continues even though the land is colder than any glacier, he says 'why does my heart stand still but my body continues to move?'
Once he strayed far enough across the land he saw a gathering of thousands of forgotten souls wandering to a singular gate unmatched in size, it towered thousands of feet glistening in the sky,gt he exclamines but why does this gate have a purpose, what is it here for?
Then, he remembers a single remnant of the story from before stating of a single gate, or more known as, The seal of the damned, and how that the seal of the damned is the one and only way to get out of the Land Of The Damned.
As a black shadowed creature levitates out of nowhere it moves slowly towards henry in ragged torn black robes, he whispers in his ear the symphony of the Diminished must begin, and as suddenly as he came, he vanished from sight, and as he vanishes the now startled henry suddenly gets a burst of life, more than felt ever before, it seems he knew so much more than he previously knew, things about the gate and the people of the gate.
The gift of the dead, it seems too have been brought upon him, by chance of fate?
