Sorell POV/age: 6

My name is Sorell (L/n), a 6-year-old wandering the forest in Pallet Town. I usually do this in the morning and afternoon to clear my mind and see the calm pokemon around the town. As I was about to head back, I heard a noise.

Sorell: W-who's there!? *Grabs his baton for safety* I'm a-armed and dangerous!

As the noise got louder, it was revealed to be Riolu that jump-scared you.

Riolu: RIOLU!!!

Sorell: AAAHHHH!!*Accidentally throwed his baton up in the air*

I jumped and fell on my butt, throwing the baton I had into the air. A few seconds after that, it fell onto my head, hurting a lot.

Sorell: Ouch!! S-sorry, you kind of scared me there.

Riolu: Rio?

Sorell: Yeah, I'm ok. Where did you come from anyway?

The riolu that scared me began to think, but it didn't know where it came from or who he was with. So, I knew what to say to it.

Sorell: Would you like to come with me...?

Riolu: Rio! (:

Sorell: Okay then. *Picked up and put away the baton*

I held the small fighting pokemon and went back home with a new partner. Something tells me that this was a start of an new adventure.

(Timeskip back to home)

Mom: Sorell, WHERE DID YOU GO!? ARE YOU OKAY!? AND WHY DO YOU HAVE A SMALL CUTE RIOLU!?

Prof. Oak: I would very much like to know as well.

My mom and the professor wanted to know what happened to me and why I was a little late to come back home from my walk. I told them about the Riolu and how I met it, and before long they both calmed down.

Mom: I guess that you have your first pokemon then.

Oak: Well, it's not a starter, but I think I'll work it out when you turn 17.

Sorell: Thanks doc. Welp, we'll be going to bed. goodnight you two. *Heads to his room*

3rd person POV

As Sorell and the Riolu heads upstairs to sleep, the mother and professor Oak began to talk about him and his pokemon journey.

Mom: Do you think he'll be ready? It is a mysterious world out there.

Oak: Ma'am, I don't think. I "know" he is ready. With the right training, he'll might become champion someday.

The mother looked back upstairs to watch her son in his bedroom. "I hope you're right. Still, his father would be so proud of him." She then got ready to sleep, while the professor returned to the lab.
