without a word the little girl, dragged her worn-out, egg-blue, teddy, and went out of the room, she turned her back one last time to look at the strange figure on the other side of the room, analyzing their prominent features. and with that, the battered door was slammed in her face and made an ear-splitting sound.
the small girl left to never see her mother again.
