I was walking through the strange town by myself and I was in deep thought with what had happened last night. It was supposed to be a night full of love and happiness, but it just quickly turned into torture and the unexpected. No thanks to those bitches either. They stopped at nothing until they saw what they wanted to see and they simply just left us in tears in the middle of our kitchen. I had to calm my girlfriend down so much that night and it just pained me seeing her in so much fear. I was supposed to protect her from stuff like that.
I was about to turn a corner, but then someone knocked into me and I stumbled a few steps and turned to see that it was of course that bitchy ass vampire. I instantly glared as she just acted as if it was a complete accident for her to knock into me. "I'm so sorry," is the first thing that she says and I just sighed, knowing that there was no way for me to get away from this. I just continued on with my walk and the vampire immediately started following me.
"So... Did y'all figure what last night was all about?" She asked and I gave her a side eye. "You know that we didn't. Now is there something that you pricks aren't telling us?" I asked and she shook her head. "Z was the only one who gave that much of a damn, and she's a demon, so it's pretty hard for someone to change her mind."
"And we were on her mind?" "Yup and that was enough for us to tag along. She believed that you were the reason for the thunderstorm not too long ago and now... She is likely correct," she says and we actually walk into some shop together. "We aren't trying to fuck with you guys anymore. Because you know... You are like one of us now-" "I'd rather die than be like you," I tell her sharply. "Well of course. I'm the only Louise Tomlinson. I don't want there to be another me. However, you are of our kind. What humans would call monsters or freaks," she tells me and I shook my head.
"I never thought of-" "Yes you did. Don't even try to lie. Your girlfriend was thinking about it nonstop after our first encounter," Louise says and I felt bad instantly. They are all here in this town and it's probably because of how all humans think of them.
"Hey Louise?" She hummed and turned her head to look at me. "Can you tell me about your experience being here?" I asked and when she didn't say anything in return, I turned my head to look at her. She was thinking about it. She then sighed and looked ahead.
"It gets quite lonely here honestly. Like the only thing that can excite me about being here are my girlfriends. Love keeps me here. If it wasn't for that, then I would truthfully want to die. Being constantly reminded that I'm only here because some humans didn't even want to try to live with us or understand us makes me depressed. There is not a lot to explore. All we have is one restaurant, one bakery, one of everything. Not amusement parks though. Not no Sea World. Not no Six Flags. Definitely no Disney. Just... Emptiness," she tells me and I frowned.
"And you can't escape?" She looked at me and I saw sadness in her eyes. "Do you really think that I would still be here if I had a chance of that? Absolute freedom. I truly hate it here. I really don't know why you girls came here voluntarily," she said and I heard her voice crack in the middle of that statement. "We just like peace and silence. We don't like being in a place that is heavily surrounded by people. It makes us feel cramped and uncomfortable," I tell her truthfully and she chuckles.
"Well this is a good place to have as your silent place. I just don't think that there is a lot of peace here," she says and I tilted my head. "How come?" "I'm a vampire, Neala. I'm a vampire living in the same town as werewolves. Lilliam and her biological family are the only ones who like me. Us vampires and werewolves are enemies by default. Then there is Zayna who is a freaking demon. No one wants to be around her, and there are freaking angels here. Angels, Neala. They come to our home to scold us just because we are dating Zayna. Or, they just try and attack her whenever they can."
