IT WAS INCREDIBLE HOW CARLOS HAIR SHONE UNDER THE SUNLIGHT. The day was quite perfect to go for a walk, the breeze and the sun were ideal. Our little meeting with Piñon made me so energetic, thank God because chasing around Angelina yesterday was no easy task.
But I was really thankful once I found her safely and good after the frightening texts. She was with Charles so I assumed he took good care of her.
As we walked, Carlos was lost in thought, talking about Piñon and my smile couldn't get any bigger. Piñon, on the other hand, was happily sniffing and exploring the new surroundings.
Suddenly, I spoke up, "Owners look like pets" I teased him and he laughed.
"I won't argue with you, because I totally agree but what makes you say that?"
"Well, for instance, your hair is so fluffy, just like Piñon" I ruffled his hair and it magically got back into place. "Look, your hair is literally perfect, how do you do it?"
"Maybe I'll reveal it on my vogue beauty secrets" he teased before adjusting his hair back how he liked it.
"So, how did you and Piñon become best buds?" I smiled warmly.
Carlos smiled, "Piñon came into my life about 4 years ago and immediately brightened up my day. He's been my best friend ever since."
I looked at Piñon, who was now digging a hole in the ground. "I can see why. He's so adorable and... full of energy."
Carlos chuckled, "Yeah, he's a handful, but I wouldn't have it any other way. But I'm used to the Oli I got back home"
"You have more dogs?" My smile was wide and Carlos couldn't stop laughing.
"Well, it's my parents' dogs but every time I visit them I play with Oli. He sings every Christmas" Carlos smiled.
"Sings?" I raised a brow making him wiggle his eyebrows.
"Yeah, when my sister, Ana, plays the piano and he sings along" Carlos grinned making me chuckle.
"That's the cutest thing ever. But I really have to see it to believe it" I shrugged making Carlos look up at me.
"He gives private concerts only" he laughed before he unexpectedly asked. "Do you have any pets?"
"Not really" I frowned making him raise his brows in surprise. "I would love to have a little best friend but I'm just too busy lately"
