"So where did you go last night?" April asked Ray who just came into the kitchen area wearing a large blue sweater.

April woke up at 10 in the morning to cook breakfast for the girls who made themselves comfortable on the penthouse floor. She had to call room service for the extra mattresses at 3 in the morning because the girls wanted to stay for the night.

"Randy called last night, he was in trouble during a boost. He got away with it, though. I spent the night at his house in Paleto," Ray explained, picking up a piece of fried bacon from the plate. Trying to avoid her gorl's questioning look, she opened the fridge and got herself a glass of orange juice.

April smirked at what her gorl told her but she decided to wait until Ray was ready to tell her everything.

"Good morning, girls!" Autumn greeted them while yawning her way to the kitchen. "Everything smells so good."

"Thanks! I learned to cook when I was away," April shared which made the two girls smile at her.

Ray bit her lips, contemplating whether she'll ask the question she has been wanting to ask since the previous night or not. She looked at Autumn who eyed her knowingly. The blonde nodded at her, encouraging her.

"When are you gonna tell the rest of CG that you're back?" Ray finally asked.

April stopped what she was doing and put down the spatula she was using to cook their breakfast. She looked at the girls who were waiting for her answer and smiled. "I'm just here for Autumn's wedding. But I'll see Mr. K and everyone later today."

Autumn smiled sadly but tried hiding it by picking up a piece of the bacon April was cooking.

"So after my wedding, you'll leave again?" the blonde shooter clarified.

"I'll stay about three days after your wedding, I told you girls about it last night," April responded, hiding how she was affected by how the girls' expressions on their faces.

They didn't admit it, but they were secretly hoping that the redhead would change her mind after being with the girls.

"Hey girls, I'm starving!" Penny said as she walked into the kitchen with the three girls looking like they just heard the worst news. "Are you guys good?" she asked.

April flashed a smile and answered, "Of course! I was just telling them how I almost got involved with the wrong people. But everything's exactly where I like it now."

She lied, except for the latter. She liked the way things were— no complications, two multi-million dollar businesses. A voice sometimes told her that those were not the things she needed, but she would ignore them.

The other two tried to flash a smile and changed the topic to the food in front of them. Penny shrugged her shoulders and helped herself to the food. She was starving to even think of anything, but she could sense the tense atmosphere in the kitchen.

After they all had their breakfast, the ladies bid goodbye to April while she got ready for the day to see Mr. K before meeting with Chang Gang again.

"This is not funny, whoever you are," Mr. K answered his phone in the most aggressive tone when he saw his daughter's name on the screen.

Everything that happens in the first hour of his day defines his mood for the whole day, so receiving a prank call wasn't the best.

"Oh, I'm sorry," the redhead stammered upon hearing the aggressive tone.

The gang leader's forehead immediately creased, not believing what he just heard. He knew his daughter's voice like the back of his hand, even with the stutters.
