Rose Red sat next to a glass coffin, the seven dwarfs were standing with her, the princess waiting for her Huntsman and the dwarfs for Prince Charming, "If he doesn't get here in a minute, Rose should try", Doc suggested.

"We may be sisters in blood, but we are not sisters by bond", Rose snapped.

A wolf howled as Prince Charming appeared, on a horse, Rose's Huntsman behind on foot, the blonde shot up dodging Charming as he made his way to her twin sister. They had been close once, a long time ago, but that was before everything happened that led to this. The Huntsman opened his arms to embrace his soulmate. Rose bounded into them and threw herself onto him, wrapping her legs around his waist despite the dress she was wearing. "I missed you", an accented voice declared.

"I missed you too"

Blakley Flanagan sighed as she wrapped her stethoscope around her neck, the children's ward had been busy, busier than usual. She had three kids who had to stay overnight with illnesses or allergic reactions, two more with broken bones, and five who came in and ended up leaving without anything wrong with them, and that was all within ten minutes of her shift. Granted she didn't take care of all of them, but according to the nurses who had the day shift some had been there for hours, so instead of checking on the long-term patients like she was supposed to, she had spent the last hour clearing out the waiting room to the best of her abilities. "Doctor Flanagan to room 205, Doctor Flanagan to room 205".

Blakley threw her head back and groaned as she turned to a nurse, "Can you get Doctor Whale down here, it's madness".

"I think he's in the OR".

"Then get someone else, just go, somebody needs to cover me".

The nurse nodded as Blakely walked to the room, she gently opened the door, "Hey kiddo, how you doing today?".

"My chest hurts", the boy wheezed.

"Yeah?".

He nodded as Blakley sighed, Elliot had been here for ages, with chILD, a disease that attacks lung tissue that surrounds the alveoli and bronchial tubes, his lung function was decreasing and his oxygen levels in his blood were dropping and his breathing was laboured. So far he had been sick for four years, much longer than predicted. Elliot was five and Blakely knew they would have to say goodbye soon, as sad as it was, she had been looking after him since he was one, Archie Hopper had brought him in, saying he was abandoned on a park bench. "Archie should be here later, said he would visit after he talked to Henry".

"The mayor's kid?", Elliot rasped.

Blakley nodded as she flicked through his chart, "Looks like you need some more antibiotics".

"Why do I need them, it's not like they help".

"It reduces the inflammation around your lungs, makes you feel better. I'll be back in a minute", Blakley answered as she pushed back some blonde hair on his forehead.

As she exited the room and made her way to the nurses' station to get some Pirfenidone, the only medication Elliot seemed to react well to, sure he felt sick and lost his appetite but it slowed down the infection. "Blakley!".

The blonde rolled her eyes as she recognized the voice, "Doctor Whale", she gave a tight-lipped smile as she turned, "Don't be so informal. I'm in my scrubs and my coat which means I'm Doctor Flanagan, head of paediatrics, not Blakley the ex of a cheater".

He nodded as she turned back around, "How's Elliot?".

"As good as he can be. I thought you were in the OR?"

She snapped the last bit out, desperate to finish the conversation.

"I finished ages ago".

Blakley hummed as she grabbed the prescribed amount of antibiotics, "I have to go give these to Elliot, make sure he's okay before Archie gets here".
