I looked around at all my friends and family lying around me their cold empty eyes staring back at me telling me it was all my fault forever everything that has happened. Sadly this was my entire fault, all the deaths and destruction were all me. No one else could have done this I thought to myself as I walked through my abandoned town, as tears rolled down my face. The looks on my families face as I just stood there and watch them kill them.  I hugged my self trying to hold back the tears. I didn’t feel the cold but I knew the wind was blowing, but all I could think was why, why didn’t I do anything. In the distance I heard an alarm, almost like an… an alarm clock.

“Fey, Fey sweetie wake up, you got to get ready for your first day at your new school.” my mom said to me as I rolled over to look into her face, I smiled.

“Thanks mom, I’ll be down to breakfast in a moment.” I said as I started to crawl out of bed. My mom left me in my room I walked over to my mirror, I looked at myself as I ran my fingers through my hair, “ugh, stupid hair.” My crazy black curls were everywhere. I put the back into place and held it with some hair spray. Better I thought but not quite, I picked up my black eyeliner and applied it around my dark green eyes, put a bit of eye shadow on and some mascara. I looked back in the mirror. I can gladly say I look more awake and ready to rock the first day of school. Now to get dressed, I walked over to my dresser and pulled out my black tank top, slipped it on over my red and black laced bra. Next was my black skinny’s. Last but not least was my dark red Assassins Creed sweater. I just loved the hood on that thing. I grabbed my bag off my desk and ran downstairs into the kitchen. I sat down on the stool and dropped my bag down by my feet.

“Hey mom, where’s dad?” I looked around and noticed he wasn’t fussing around the kitchen grabbing his morning grub before he heads off to work.

She looked up at me, “Oh he isn’t feeling well Hon he has been up all night.” She looked kind of worried.

“Maybe I’ll go say goodbye to him if he is awake” I smiled as I picked up my glass of orange juice and took a sip. My mom slides my toast and bacon to me. Yum it looked so good. I gulped it up. “So where am I meeting the bus at?” Yes I was taking the good old fashion school bus. I was thrilled.

My mom walked over to the fridge and looked at the paper. “Umm 5 Avenue South and 5 street south.” Alright I thought I just got to walk down fisher Road a bit and ill be there.

“I better get going mom, I’ll tell you how my day went after school love you.” I kissed her on the cheek. “Bye mom, and tell dad I love him too!” I Grabed my leather jacket I never leave my house without it and I ran out the door and down the steps. I walked down the road looking at the mountains, It was so beautiful here. It wasn’t that big of a move from Langley to Golden, but still I’ll miss it. I need a fresh start anyway and I was ready to start my grade 11 year with a bang.

I waited for the big yellow limo leaning against the pine tree. As I saw the buss in the distance I shrugged myself off the tree and walked out towards the road, the bus drove right past me. I can’t believe that just happened, how in the world was I going to get to school now? My school was all the way across town! That’s when my big bro pulled to the side of the road where I was standing. I walked over to the car and got into it. He was laughing. “Castial why the hell are you laughing?”

He looked at me, “Cause your not taking a bus to school silly, I’m driving you, we all thought we would play a little trick on you.” He continued laughing as he put the car into first gear and drove me to school.
