Story Type: Sad Summary: Y/N and Yelena have been dating for 3 years when they and the rest of the avengers are sent to Infiltrate a HYDRA Facility to destroy a Bio weapon. Y/N accidentally get exposed to it and must sacrifice himself to avoid exposing the rest of the world. Warning: suicide.
Y/N POV I push the vent open and drop down into the hallway. Landing almost silently in and pose. As Yelena drop out of the vent She says "My god, this team is full of posers." I let out a light chuckle and say "You take the north side of this floor I'll take the south side. Loser has to pay for takeaway and the winner gets to choose what we are having." Yelena smiles and says "Your on Моя любовь.(My Love.)" She runs off to the north side as I run to the south side.
Yelena POV 10 Minutes later. Y/N's voice comes over the Comms and he says in a serious tone "Guys, we have a problem." Steve asks "What's wrong kid?" Ethan takes a moment then replies "I have good news and I have bad news. The good news is I have found the Bio weapon." Nat asks "And the bad news?" Ethan lets out a deep exhale then says sadly "a HYDRA agent sprayed me with it causing the lab I'm in to go into lock down." My heart instantly drops as I say "We are on our way." I start running to the south side of the floor, praying that there is some way to save him.
As I run up to the door to the lab and try to pull it open. A robotic voice says "Lockdown protocols engaged. Please Activate Purge Protocol." Y/N says "The door isn't going to open, babygirl. Find the rest of the team and get out of here." I says as I keep trying to open the door "Just shut up there's got to be to get you out of there and fix this." The rest of the team walk up behind me as Y/N says "Please Моя любовь,( My Love,) I don't want you to have to see what happens to a person exposed to this weapon." I press my hand onto the glass and say on the brink of tears "No Tony will think of something. He's a genius. If any can it's him." Y/N presses his hand on the other side of the glass and says "Even if we found a way to get me out of this lab it would take 2 hours to get back to his lab and the Bio weapon would kill me and anyone near me in half that time. This is the only way Моя любовь.(My love.)" Tears start to run down my cheeks and I start to sob as Y/N "Ты навсегда будешь моим Атлантида. Елена Белова.(You'll forever be my Atlantis, Yelena Belova.) I starts to cry uncontrollably as he walks over to a red button on the wall. Nat grabs hold of me and pulls me into a side hug. He presses the button and the robotic voice says "Purge Protocol activated." He says Goodbye everyone, I couldn't have asked for a better family." My legs give out from underneath me as The Lab is consumed by a by a ball of fire. I let out a loud cry as Nat pulls me into a tight embrace.
No one's POV. A few hours later. The quinjet lands at the tower. Yelena runs down the ramp and to her and Y/N's room. Nat walks in behind her and knocks on the bedroom door. She says "Yelena let me in, Y/N wouldn't want you to be alone right now. The sounds of crash and slamming from inside. Nat says Jarvis unlock to door please." He replies "Right away Ms Romanoff." The door unlocks and opens revealing a destroyed room and Yelena lying on the bed sobbing into Y/N's pillow. Nat runs over and lies down next to her pulling Yelena into her chest. She screams into Nat's chest. After a few minutes. Jarvis says "I'm sorry to Interrupts Ms Romanoff and Ms Belova. But Y/N asked me to deliver a message in the event of his death. He told me to tell you there was something in his lockbox in the lab for you." Yelena gets up and runs to the lab followed closely by Nat. As they walk into the lab they notice everyone standing around looking sad. Yelena ignores them and goes right to where Y/N's lockbox is and opens it. A hologram of Y/N appears and he says "Hello Моя любовь.(My Love) If you are seeing this it means I didn't make it back from a mission." This draws everyone's attention. He says "As you know my childhood was not a normal one, I was taught many things but not how to love. That I learnt by being with you. There was a question I've wanted to you for a while but was to scared to ask you. So If your see this it means I never got around asking but I still want you to have it." A little box in that was also in the lockbox opens displaying a Diamond Ring.

The team's eyes widen as Yelena legs buckle under her and if not for Nat catch she would have fallen down. The hologram walks over to where Yelena and says "Ты навсегда будешь моей Атлантидой. Елена Белова."(You'll forever be my Atlantis. Yelena Belova.)
