It has been 5 months since The Third Hokage asked Itachi to train Naruto in the arts of shinobi. For our little protagonist life was always against him, from him being the Jinchuriki of the Kyubi to him being the scapegoat of the village to blame everything on...

But after finally finding out the truth of his heritage, he is more than ready to finally prove that he is the future of the village, the next Hokage leader of the Konohagakure...

Itachi's training did wonders for Naruto who now took the work and line of shinobi as a serious matter, even though he is still playful and joyous like a kid but he does know when to get serious...

Naruto had adopted Itachi's mindset and wanted to follow his path, like him and his deceased family he also wanted to end all the wars and achieve-

Peace...

Naruto rigorously trained every day to achieve both his dreams, and he has drastically improved his skills, like Itachi he has mastered the kunai and shuriken training. His taijutsu has also improved by leaps and bound and also has started learning the Uchiha Interceptor fist style of Taijutsu which is a fighting style that heavily relies on predicting the opponent's attacks and countering them.

He has unlocked the second tomoe of his Sharingan and could now copy his opponents' movements but Itachi has instructed him to not use his Sharingan very much since it would raise suspicion and will make him heavily dependent on it which is something that Itachi wants to avoid at all costs, since Sharingan is only a tool in one's arsenal, the heavy dependency and pride of the sharingan is the reason why many young Uchihas meet their demise early .

 Naruto on paper was best a low-mid genin level ninja since he still requires real battle experience.
Naruto might just be the perfect combination of a genius of hard work and a prodigy.

Naruto and Itachi also grew a lot closer, Naruto had started calling him Itachi Nii-san which always made Itachi smile a little since he always wanted a little brother of his own...

Shisui also met Naruto on some occasions and wanted to teach the young Namikaze some of the moves like the body flicker and kenjutsu (剣術 Sword Technique) and gifted him with his old Tanto which was a pure black short blade with a golden white hilt that had a small Uchiha insignia, Naruto was grateful for the gift.

Naruto stood there painting with some minor bruises on his arms and face, opposite of him stood Itachi in his Anbu uniform without the mask, he also had some minor bruises but was much better than Naruto...

"I am impressed Naruto, you have improved a lot in such a short time" praised Itachi while ruffling Naruto's head... Naruto grinned at this " I learned from the best!"

Itachi smiled softly "What do you say Naruto, wanna come over to the Uchiha compound and meet my family?" asked Itachi, he wanted his mother to meet Naruto since he knew that his mother and naruto's mother Kushina were very close.

"Is it fine for me to come Nii-san? You know that people don't generally like me..." replied Naruto in a concerned voice since he didn't want his sensei to be insulted by their clan members...
