movie night

Y/n's pov: tonight its friday night which means its mine and rons annual movie night. we love watching movies because we get to eat our favourite snacks whilst watching our favourite films which are mostly rom-coms or si-fi but tonight ron decided to choose a horror film which i dont do well will at all.

Ron's pov: i chose a horror film and see y/n's eyes widen in shock because they hate it when we watch horror. i turn the film on and get into bed with y/n and they snuggle up to me. as soon as they saw the first jumpscare which was an unexpected one they screamed and hid their head into my neck and kept on saying "is it over?"

Y/n's pov: as soon as the film was over ron put away all the snacks and turned the lights off apart from the fairy lights i had on my headboard above my bed. i knew ron was tired so i snuggled up to him as i said goodnight and kissed his cheek and we both fell asleep peacefully but that peace didn't last long.

Ron's pov: i heard y/n scream in their sleep they must of had a nightmare from the film. i felt guilty putting it on. i immediately turned to face y/n who had tears streaming down their face.
"what happened in your nightmare baby?" i ask with a concerned tone

"i dreamt that you died like how the main
character did in the film" they reply with their voice breaking every few words

"i will never die i promise you that darling" i responded reassuring them.

Y/n's pov: after ron reassures me he kisses my forehead and lets me cuddle him all night. i know i will be safe with ron.
