A/N: *looks at the camera and smiles* It's Satou Sunday / Maya Monday
Ayanokouji's POV:
"I know I promised that I wouldn't pry, however, I can't help but be curious"
Right now, I had just retracted my hand from Horikita's after shaking her hand in a deal to help her with Class D reaching Class A in exchange for her to not pry into my life. And yet, she now asks for something already. I couldn't help but sigh. "What is it, Horikita?"
"What's the deal with you involving someone like Satou-san? This entire Inhabited Island, I've seen you be with her more than the three idiots or with that shy girl, Sakura-san."
"I have my reasons to talk to Maya"
"Maya?"
"That's her first na-" I tried to be sarcastic with her but it seems that she was faster in reacting
"I know that's her first name!" Horikita glared at me fiercely. She seems to not appreciate what I was trying to pull a joke on her.
"I'll give you the abridged version, Horikita, however, I'll warn you now, it's something you're totally not familiar with"
"Psh... Please... Do not underestimate my intelligence, Ayanokouji-kun, whatever you are planning with her, I'll be sure to comprehend it." She said, huffing in defiance as she crossed her arms over her chest. However, Horikita, you have fallen for my trap.
"She wanted to be my friend for the time being and I agreed."
I then raised my hand and held out a peace sign. Seeing this, Horikita understood why I was appearing smug in her eyes. In retaliation, however, she threw a jab towards my mid section.
"Ouff..."
"Is that a jab at my preference to be alone? How childish of you, Ayanokouji-kun"
Well you did walk into my trap...
"Anyways, You said she wanted you to be her friend for now..." Horikita pondered as she hummed. Then she looked over towards me and then raised an eyebrow "Is it possible that she's aiming for a relationship with you?" The way she said this, she appears quite disapproving of such a thought.
"If so, I find it unnecessary... This may distract you from your promise to me... The last thing i need is for you getting distracted by some other woman"
"Why, would you get jealous?" I asked, looking over towards her.
"Huh?" She looked at me, bewildered at my sudden claims about her being jealous. Somehow I couldn't help but continue to push my luck. Perhaps this is my vengeance upon her for keeping me from going back to the sweet embrace of bed-chan.
"I almost assumed that you've grown feelings for me after I've been arou-"
Suddenly pain erupted upon my upper arm.
It seems that I have been stabbed yet again by her trusty compass.
"Ouch..."
"Please do not make any more disgusting assumptions, Ayanokouji-kun. The day I grow interest in you is the day my way of thinking is changed by divine intervention itself." She vehemently said, glaring at me with such hate filled intensity that it burned hotter than the sun. She appears as if she wishes to hurl a vomit. Am I that unappealing to you, Horikita?
I am deeply hurt...
Hmm, I can't help but wonder about a world where Horikita does indeed has her personality at a 180.
"I was just kidding" I let out a sigh as I looked over towards the compass that was currently protruding from my arm. One that she mercilessly pulled off my body before hiding it back into her blazer's pocket.
