There once was a girl, and that girl's name is Trista. Trista was born in Brookland, New York in 2005. It was now the year 2017 and it was Trista's 13th birthday. For a normal person, it is a celebration of 13 years of living, but for Trista, it was its 13 years of being an orphan. When Trista was born her mother hated her so much that she didn't want to even hold her, nor even look at her. Her mother originally was thrilled when she found out that pregnant with her, but when she told her boyfriend [Trista's dad] he had the total opposite reaction. You can say he was not happy if anything he was pissed. Why, because it was a child, a child that he didn't want. Her father then went on and asked her mother what gender. At this point Trista's mother was scared if her boyfriend found out it was a girl, so her mother nervously replied with "a girl, the babys a girl." Her father was already pissed that he had a child but was even more pissed when he found out it was a girl, so that's when he decided to break up with her, and that's exactly what he did. From that day onward her mother blamed her, an unborn child for her break up. When Trista was born her mother didn't want to hold her nor even look at her. When the day came where she could take Trista home, she never showed. When her mother didn't come to pick her up after two weeks the hospital had to make a decision on whether to give her to an orphanage or leave the baby on the streets. All the hospital staff thought it was a best idea to leave the child at an orphanage, where she'll be fed and clothed. After a nurse dropped her off at Brookland City Orphanage. She left the orphanage with very little information on her parents.
When Trista was five she asked about her parents. No one replied because no one knew. No one knew about her parents. With that it left Trista confused and got her wondering why, why she was there, why was it happening, not only to her but to the other kids there with her. When Trista was 7 she came down to the conclusion that she was abandoned, unwanted and useless. That's when she started to hate her birthday. Her birthday started from her 8th to her 13th, which was today, may 7th. Because all her birthday does is remind her that her parents didn't want her, only because she wasn't a boy, leaving her like she was a piece of old cloth.Thank you for reading
