Picnic

Ruby wakes up later than usual, and Remote is already awake beside it, listening to a random lofi playlist and relaxing. Ruby hugs them tightly, and Remote hugs back. They kiss Ruby gently, blushing calmly as they do. Ruby smiles uncontrollably, before they both get out of bed.

Ruby walks out to the living room with Remote, where two plates of freshly-made pancakes with maple syrup and fruit around them on a table are waiting for it. Ruby looks back at Remote, who's smiling warmly.

"Once we're done eating, I have another surprise for you!" Remote says softly.

Ruby sits down, and begins to eat. Remote clearly took time to make them, as these are some of the best pancakes Ruby has ever tasted. 

As Ruby is eating, Remote grabs a small bag and begins to pack stuff into it. A polaroid camera, a small red and white tablecloth, a cooler, a speaker, and more. Once they finish packing, Ruby is done it's pancakes.

Remote and Ruby walk for a bit, before they reach a park, about 15 minutes away from their house. Remote took out the blanket from the bag and spread it out on the grass. They set a few different snacks out, opens the cooler and grabs two cans of soda, passing one to Ruby. They connect the speaker to Spotify, and turn on their favorite romantic playlist. They grab the camera, too.

"I decided to plan a picnic, just you and me!" Remote exclaims, kissing Ruby again.
