we ended up watching the fault in our stars and by the time the movie was over there was a pile of tissues and we were cuddled together. I checked my phone and saw I had two missed calls from my mom. I didn't even bother to call her back. I just rushed a little to get back knowing how my mom can get.
"what's wrong?" Paul asked.
"two missed calls from mom."
"oh. I see. I had fun. hope we can do it again sometime."
"same here."
we hugged very tightly and I didn't want I let go. it was the best hug I've had in a while.
"bye." I said leaving his door.
"wait!" paul practically screamed. "let me walk you home."
"okay." I smiled
on the way home we talked about stuff like out favorite bands, books, colors, animals, ect.
when we got to my door we did another hug like before and I really didn't want to let go. when we stopped we looked into each others eyes for a sec when we started leaning in. but right when our lips were about to touch my mom burst out of the door and started yelling.
"PAISLEY WHERE WERE YOU?!?! I WAS WORRIED SICK ABOUT YOU!!!"
"um... I was with my friend Paul at his house. I told you earlier I was going to his house."
she looked over and saw Paul.
"oh. hi sweetie. I'm mrs. Anderson."
Paul looked really nervous and I understand why.
"hi mrs. Anderson." Paul was trying to cover himself up.
my mom kept talking and I looked over and worded sorry to Paul and he worded back its okay.
he interrupted her and said," sorry mrs. Anderson but my dad is probably wondering where I'm at. it was nice to meet you!"
"you too Paul!" I think she likes Paul but I'm not really sure.
we went inside and told my mom goodnight then went to my room.
I checked my phone and saw I had a text from Paul.
Paul: I had fun
me: me too. sorry about my mom.
Paul: no I understand. a new boy and everything.
me: haha okay. That's good
Paul: yea. so I guess I'll see you tmr at school?
me: yea. I gotta finish my homework.
Paul: same here
me: want to sneak over and do it together?
Paul: sure. I'll be over in 5-10 minutes.
me: okay
