Joyce

There was a girl named Joyce who was 16 years old. Joyce was a quiet girl. She didn't have much friends At school. Joyce would read a book at lunch and would sit by herself at a table which is all the way apart from where everybody sat. Until one day Joyce was at lunch reading a book and these girls passed Joyce and laughed. Joyce was already used to that. Since Joyce began high school, she was bullied. Joyce became really depressed after her best friend and only friend had moved. Joyce began cutting. She would cut for many reasons. One in particular was because she had a crush on a boy named Austin who she knew since 3rd grade. Austin was a popular kid and Joyce thought to herself "how could he like a girl like me?" Until one day at school Joyce was going to math and Austin came up to her and gave her his phone number and told her to text him sometime. Joyce was confused but excited at the same time. After math, Joyce was going to her locker and some girls came up to her and said " Do you really think a boy like Austin would like a girl like you?!" And they laughed. Joyce was really sad and said to herself " they are right. How can a boy like Austin like a girl like me?" Joyce went to the bathroom and started cutting herself until one of her only friends came in and stopped her. Joyce fell to the ground in tears and proceeded to tell her friend, Miranda, that why did she stop her. Miranda asked Joyce with tears in her eyes why was she cutting and Joyce explained to her about the girls who came up to her in her locker. With anger, Miranda went out the bathroom and stood on a chair and yelled " what is wrong with y'all people. Y'all think it's funny to bully people well I'm here to tell y'all it's not. Y'all cause pain to others and when does people kill themselves because of y'all, y'all are gonna want to kill yourselves. By hurting others y'all hurt y'all selfs. SO STOP BULLYING PEOPLE!!" Later after that Joyce was taken to the guidance office and then there she told them about all the bullying that was happening to her. Joyce was later send home later that day. When she got home, nobody was home. Joyce's mom was in Cuba in her honeymoon with her new husband and Joyce's dad was nowhere to be found. He had left Joyce's mother 6 months after Joyce was born. Joyce was alone. Joyce then rushed to her phone and texted Austin. Austin later them replied. Joyce was happy. Hours had passed and Joyce was still texting Austin. Finally Joyce told Austin that she had a massive crush on him. Austin then told Joyce "oh........ok ummmmm I'm sorry but I already have a girlfriend....." Joyce was crushed and felt like there was no longer any point of living. Later that night, Austin texted Joyce. He asked her if she was ok. Joyce replied and said" yeah Ive never felt better." Austin said "oh ok so what you doing" and Joyce replied "nothing much "just hanging around." Austin then texted back to Joyce and after Joyce told him what she was doing she didn't replied. Austin was worried but he didn't know where Joyce lived so he called Joyce's mother and told her what had happen that day and Joyce's mother imminently catched the next plane to New Orleans, where they lived. When Joyce's mother got home she felt to the ground in tears as she saw her daughter hanging dead. She called Austin and told him that she had committed sucide around 6 o'clock by hanging herself but Austin then told her that he had texted her around 8 o'clock. Soon he realized that when he asked her what she was doing he felt to the ground in shock and realized that she said she was hanging around.
