Tae & Y/n

Part 1

"Finally!!! New York !!! Here I come !!!" Y/n exclaimed.
It is a dream come through for y/n to be here at New York.

Years ago, she remembered all the struggles looking for work and now, she is here in NY to make those dreams come true.

It has been a year since she graduated AB Journalism to a state university and send application to all known newspaper, magazine, any media related company she know.

"Maybe I should try Starz Magazine, I'll shoot an application." Y/n said.
"Yes, try it. You have good grades way back college and became an intern to SBG Network. They almost hire you but you refused." Becca said, y/n bff.
"Right, I already told you the boss there is kinda suspicious. His gaze makes me so uncomfortable. There is something wrong, he even requested me to stay late at the office for a "project" just for the two of us, like what the hell."
"Aish..I remembered that too. Hahaha such a menace" Becca said.
"Email sent!"
"Goodluck bestie!"

Days, weeks, month passed. Y/n almost lost hope because she never hear anything from Starz.

Until one day, she received a response.

Hi y/n,

Good morning.

We received your application as an apprentice writer. We look up to your application and happy to invite you for an interview tomorrow.

Please wear casual attire. Be here at 8am, look for Ms. Lovey.

Y/n can't explain how happy she is to read the email. It feels surreal, Starz is a dream company to all journalist as it is known worldwide. She jumped happily and looked for something to wear.

Night passed, 5am y/n woke up.

"Ahh..today is the day!!! Here I come, Starz !!!" Y/n said.

She prepared her casual look with a light makeup and travel to Starz.

In the office...

"Hi, good morning...I am y/n, I have an interview today and I am looking for Ms. Lovey." Y/n said to the receptionist.
"Oh hi y/n, you're so early and I am Lovey." receptionist said.
"Oh wow, nice to meet to you Ms. Lovey" y/n replied.

Ms. Lovey took her to a mini conference room.

"My boss will come in soon, you can wait here." Lovey said.
"Thank you" y/n said.

The room is so clean, not so small, not so big, there are lot of articles on picture frames. Then someone entered.

"Hi, you must be y/n." boss said. "I am Ms. Johns, Managing Editor of Starz Media.
"Good morning Ms. Johns, thank you for looking for my application. " y/n replied.

The interview went well.

"Congratulations y/n! You're hired. You may start on Monday. You can ask Lovey for requirements." boss said.
" Thank you so much Ms. Johns" y/n said happily.

It still not sinking in that she got in to Starz.

It will be a long journey.

Monday came, y/n completed her requirements and went to work. Boss said to observe and follow request from senior writers.

Y/n thought will start writing on her first day but so far, she buys and prepares coffee for her senior, photocopy some articles, clean the mini-kitchen, and sweep the floor.
Y/n kinda frustrated because these are not the role she accepted but also realized that she is new so she can't do things yet.

"Y/n, senior writer Diana would like you to submit a feature article for the newest cafe opened nearby" officemate said.
"Woah- I'm so exciteeeed! Thank you." y/n excitingly said.

She went to the cafe, interviewed the owner, made multiple revisions and submitted her work.

"Y/n come to my office" Senior Writer said.
"Yes miss." Y/n replied.

"Have a seat. I read your article and reviewed your application. You been here for almost 2 months now.  All I can say, I am impressed. You have lot of ideas. We will sent this to the publication house for the next week's magazine." Diana said.
"Oh my God. Thank you miss." y/n happily replied.

After that day, y/n already got involved to the writing team and no longer prepare and buy coffee unless she insisted.
