Maya had gone back to the creepy house. She needed to know more about like why all of a sudden it scared her. She thought its probably the colors. Yeah, it's the colors, and once I go back I'll see it's nothing to worry about. She often thought about why the tiniest things worry her.
She had gotten to the house and figured out what that feeling was. As she walked up she saw a man in the window just staring wide eyed with a weird smirk on his face. She slowly looked over and saw him and started to slowly back away which turned into a sprint back to her house. She got to her house and sat on the floor and thought Why was this guy staring at me? This is really scary and creepy. This wrong, this is bad. What if he has been stalking me and thats the weird feeling I have been getting?
Finally she got into her house and the first thing she did was lock all the things that hadlocks and closed all the windows, shutters, and anything of that sort. From the outside of her house it looked like their family was preparing for the zombie invasion. Everything was closed locked and you could see the outline of light in her bedroom upstairs.
Maya had completely flipped and was sitting in her room trying to figure out rational ideas but only one made sense someone had been watching her and it'll probably get worse now that she knows. As she thought about this she kept looking for things that could lock in her house and she locked them. About two hours later her mom came home, as Maya heard the front door unlock she grabbed her softball bat in one hand and her phone ready on speed dial to her mom and ran downstairs. When she saw it was only her mom all her nerves calmed down and she ran back upstairs now calm that it was only her mom and not the weird man. It was now another house Maya was doing homework waiting for dinner and she got a call on her phone it was from a blocked number so she picked up "Hello?" Maya said. "Maya? Is this you? I've been waiting and you finally found me after all these years. I've been waiting" And then the creepy voice just hung up. She looked at her phone and realized in complete horror that was the creepy man. He called her he knew her number he probably knew where she lived and would come after her. She went to her bed and just laid down in fear.
That night she skipped dinner which her mom thought was odd because Maya ate 24/7. Maya slept in fear and complete upset with what was going on. She had nightmares about being followed all night, it was most likely the worst sleep she had in a very long time and she woke up groggy and grumpy. The next morning she convinced her mom to take her to school and not walk because she wasn't feeling well. She thought why me? What does he want with me? I'm just like anyother girl, anyother person. I'm no special, I don't have any special powers. All of a sudden she was at school. Today Maya looked like a wreck, she had no makeup on, she was wearing sweats and hair in a messy top-knot. She acted jumpier and more aware then she usually was, everyone noticed and asked her about it. Her answer was always "Hard night studying, I'm to tired to think straight". When in reality it was just the pure thought of the weird man staring at her when she went to that old house.
