Hey guys, welcome to my first ever story!!
I know that an author's note is usually not the most entertaining thing to read, but it is important that you read it before beginning the book. There are certain themes and pieces of information that I make prevalent in the author's note that's not discussed in the synopsis.
This book has a different relationship dynamic between the male and female characters. Although I do enjoy a good dominate male character, I thought it would be refreshing to reverse the roles. The female character is dominant and the male character is submissive. It may not be traditional, but I wanted to highlight the fact that a man being submissive doesn't make him any less than a man and vice a versa. My characters are real, raw, and imperfect. I hope you guys grow to love them as much as I do.

This will be a BDSM based book so there will be themes such as:

To be clear, I have never had any real life experience involving BDSM. I have read plenty of novels and done some research in order to make sure I depict the community as best as I can, and as accurately as I can. I'm not perfect, so if you are part of the community and see that I've depicted anything in an in-accurate manner then please let me know. As long as you guys are polite then I'm always willing to learn :)
This is an interracial romance as well (black woman x white man). If you're not into that then I ask that you please leave. Racism or disrespectful remarks will not be tolerated. In addition, the male main character does have a stutter problem. It's heavy in the beginning, but it does get better as the story develops. All I ask is that you guys be kind, as this is a real life condition that real people deal with.

Constructive criticism is welcome and encouraged. After all, this is my first book so if there's any spelling mistakes or grammar mistakes I'm always willing to be informed.
